I had taken my 10 year old car in to the Modesti's, after hearing great things about their service, and they were very nice, explained everything to me before work was done and found that my car was not as bad as another car service place had quoted me, so they saved me a lot of money by being honest!!! Irresponsible 6/16/2010

Hi. I got an Acura a few years ago and went looking for an independent mechanic since dealerships always seem to be so expensive. I found Modesti's online and since they got a good rating I went in for an oil change. I had a few minor quirks with my car - it was used - like the rear view mirror didn't seem to dim properly at night, the light in the clock was out, stuff like that. So I asked for an esitmate. The estimate took them several hours and they seemed kind of pissed off when I didn't want to get the work done just then. Pros: Honest, clean Cons: Unresponsive and kind of weird more

Honest Auto Repair Close to Culver City and Playa Vista 1/14/2008

John and his staff are the best. The shop is clean and they have a shuttle they will take you where you need to be and pick you up. I have had my car serviced here several times and they have never made unnecessary recommendations like the dealer. Their prices are fair. I highly recommend Modesti's.
