Mixers Bar & Grill

Mixers is an awesome place to go to, especially on Wednesday nights! It's the busiest place around anywhere besides downtown! Even being at a low around 70 or 80 where else you gonna go to people watch, get a live DJ, decent priced drinks/food, and some place close to home? more

So this would be the first time that 5 of my friends got 86'ed from a place... all at different times and every incident included the power tripping bouncers. One of them was the story below.. watching a friend get his face smashed into the ground and being beaten is not a ""fun night."" Just because he tried talking to one of the bouncers and didnt leave RIGHT WHEN THEY SAID.. he wasnt hurting anyone.. no reason to beat him to the ground.....after all of this the bouncer continued to laugh about it.... on top of that a friend and I got food poisoning from their food... more

This dump is located right off 217 on HWY 99 in Tigard. I just experienced my 21 year old son calling me to tell me the bouncers are beating my 24 year old son, his brother. He kept expressing that they have no reason to be beating him, he didn't do anything besides not leave immediately when asked to. Three bouncers on one 24 year old, one of the bouncers having a billy club continually beating his legs while the other two help hold him down smashing his face in the street. I arrived at Mixers just in time to hear the tall, bald, childish bouncer laughing about what he had done to my son, and saying ""Well that's what he gets for not leaving when told to."" Several girls in my son's group were standing on the sidewalk crying saying "" I can't believe it, he didn't even do anything."" When I got a chance to talk to the Officers they said ""there is always trouble in this bar, and it is usually with the bouncers."" When I asked the bouncer (that was laughing about being brutal unnecessarily) for his name, he refused to give it to me. He just kept asking smuggly, ""can I help you with something?"" My suggestion would be to stay away from this dive. There have been stabbing in the bathroom, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out the bouncers were involved. At best don't be disrespected....stay away! more
