I usually go to a stylist once or twice and by the third time I start looking for a new stylist again. I returned to Mitchell's a few years ago looking for a better stylist and found Mark Anthony. He did a great job so I returned and after 2 years I'm still with Mark. He is a perfectionist and even cuts one side of my hair a special way so it will fall just right. If I don't like something he listens and fixes it to my liking. It has been a long time since I have had a stylist with his talent. Mark doesn't just cut my hair he makes me feel like I look beautiful and isn't that what we all want. Thanks Mark your the best! more

Mark Anthony great hair stylist. Highly recommended. 5/4/2011

Mark Anthony has been cutting my hair for years now. I appreciate how he will listen to what I want done then make recommendations/suggestions on cuts and styles that will work best with my hair. He takes his time and always does an amazing job. He is a wonderful hair stylist and highly recommended. more

Have no fear, Mark Anthony is here! 4/11/2011

Like many of the other reviews, I used to dread getting my hair cut and would never know how it would turn out. A friend recommended me to Mark Anthony 3 years ago, and I have been sold ever since! He does a great job of cutting my hair and making it come back alive. Despite his new location being further from my house, it is well worth the drive to have him cut my hair, and I now even look forward to my appointment! more

Every time i would get my hair cut, it would always turn out either terrible or i hated it. I started going to Mark about a year ago, and every time i have loved it. He is very talented with the scissors. He even moved areas and i followed. As long as Mark cuts my hair i will never have a bad haircut again. more

Mark is the best in the business!!! 3/11/2011

Mark Anthony has been cutting my hair for almost 4 years now.......I have gone from short to REALLY short to long in those 4 years and never once have I gotten out of his chair and not been happy with the result! He is truly professional, knowledgeable and a perfectionist. The pride he takes in his work is immeasurable! If it were possible to give him 20 stars I would!!!!!!! more

Mark Anthony: A True Artist! 3/9/2011

Mark, you are the best! I followed Mark, when he moved to Wakefield Crossings. During the past 2 years, I have been extremely pleased with my cuts and highlights. Mark does not just cut hair, he is an artist! During the past 2 years, Mark has done the impossible...he has tamed/trained my out of control hair! That my friends, takes talent and patience! In a 1 to 5 star rating, Mark is definitely a 5!!! Mark is a phenomenal hair designer! more

I called Mitchell's and asked for a really good hairdresser and they suggested Mark! That was over 2 years ago and I wouldn't go to anyone else as long as he's around. I am very picky and he is very detail-oriented. If ever I have a hair problem, he knows just how to fix it. He makes my hair lie down perfectly and do whatever it should. I can even fix it after I get home. Not only that, but he's cute and single, Ladies! I followed him to his current location because he is wonderful. more

Mark moved and I followed! 3/4/2011

I happened upon Mark as a walk-in where he used to work, and have been going to him ever since! I have to drive about 40 minutes to get to him, but it's worth it because he knows hair. He is the only person I have allowed to chemically straighten my naturally ringlet curly hair, and he did an excellent job. I've done practically everything you can do with hair (coloring, edgy styling, straghtening). He always listens to what I want as well as puts his own expertise into play. As long as I'm in Raleigh, I will never go to anyone else! more

Still with Mark after all these years!! 2/28/2011

In the consumer arena I'm what you'd consider a 'cash cow' when it comes to getting my hair done!! I get my hair colored EVERY 4 weeks. I make all my appointments 3 months in advance, I never cancel appointments, I never show up late, and I spend at least $100 every visit. With this in mind, it took me 3 tries since moving to Raleigh in 2001before I found Mark Anthony - a PROFESSIONAL STYLIST who knows how to take care of his customers! more

Mark Anthony is great! 2/13/2011

After moving to Raleigh in 1995, I hopped around from hairstylist to hairstylist for years. My hair is fine and straight, and I couldn't find anybody who could cut it so it would look after the first day. A little over a year ago, Mark cut my daughter's hair as I waited. I was so impressed, I decided to give him a try. I have never regretted it! He's a great stylist, knowledgable about products that will work with my hair, and he's very personable as well. I used to go 6 months at a time without getting my hair cut because I dreaded it. Now I look forward to getting it cut every 8 weeks! Mark is the best! more

Very Happy! 2/4/2011

Mark has been cutting and coloring my hair for five years now and he always does a fabulous job. He always takes his time to make sure it comes out exactly the way I want it. In addition, he has been cutting my teenage son's hair for several years now, and my son is always pleased with the way it turns out. I highly recommend Mark as he is always very professional and I always leave extremely satisfied. more

Mark Anthony at Wakefield Crossings!!! 1/29/2011

I've never had anyone cut my hair that I just fully trusted. Mark has cut my hair twice now, and this last time I had complete faith that whatever he did would look fabulous. I am usually very picky with my hair too! He knows the latest tricks and styles, and gives great tips and advice as to how to help your hair be the best it can be! I feel so much more knowledgeable after I leave from a haircut with Mark. I must add that as well as being a great hair stylist/cutter Mark is a very positive uplifting person to work with and be around. This was my 15 yr old son's second visit to Mark at MHS at Wakefield. The first was a walk-in and the service was prompt, effecient with an end result comment from my son of ""Cool"". Today's visit was by appointment, requested by my son......who does not to get his hair cut. more

Mark is an outstanding hairstylist, especially with color. He was able to create the PERFECT auburn color that would best compliment my skin tone. The man knows what he's doing and makes you feel special while he's at it! I always look forward to seeing my Mark! more
