Had an excellent experience. Came across so many great employees it is hard to remember them all. In surgery we had Renato and Tina. The recovery nurse was also excellent. In the ICU we were helped by Georgine and Alvin in training named Katherine. On the second floor we were helped by many that went out of their way. Dulce,Bing,Marielou and Bil-Ques along with all the staff doctors. more

Expanded to Better Serve the Healthcare Needs of OUR Community

Owner Message
  • Mission Community Hospital represents the union of two hospitals, each with a proud history: Panorama City Hospital founded in the sixties, and San Fernando Community Hospital founded in the twenties as the first hospital in the San Fernando Valley. After the 1994 earthquake, these two hospitals came together as Mission and found for themselves a new direction and common purpose.

As a non-profit safety net hospital, Mission Community Hospital works collaboratively with a variety of agencies and community based organizations to promote individual access to a full range of medical, mental health, and emergency care services. Our distinguished and compassionate doctors, nurses, and support staff are more than health experts. They care about the individual needs of each patient and their loved ones.

At Mission Community Hospital, we believe lifelong learning is the key to improving health, well being, and quality of life. Our San Fernando Community Campus for Heal th and Education was established in 2004 to combat the harmful impact of Type 2 Diabetes. Programs at the campus teach people of all ages how to prevent, reverse, and control diabetes with physical ability, healthy diet, and weight loss.
