Good Acoustics and Great Theatre 2/22/2006

I've seen lots of performances here, from Chicago to some acts that will date me.. 9-) This theatre's main feature is that it is open air, but the acoustics are great, you can hear every note and the cool summer breezes off the ocean provide the right amount of "air conditioning" for those warm summer nights. The pricing is dependent on who you are going to see, but the cost is less than going to some of the "high end" theatres in NYC. Parking is ample, but not necessarily free. Public transport does go there so it is accessable to folks who do not want to drive. A wonderful evening, no matter who you go to see. more

Terrific concert venue 9/29/2005

Open Air Concerts 9/22/2005

I love the Jones Beach Theatre for concerts. It's an open air venue - perfect for those summer performances. I had the pleasure of seeing Marc Anthony perform here a few summers ago. There's nothing like watching someone you love perform, the wonderful summer night air, the sky above you, the ocean nearby - it's just a totally wonderful experience. Check the scheduled for upcoming concerts and performances and check it out. Definitely a great venue that I highly recommend. more

An unforgetable experience 8/13/2005

I had the pleasure of getting tickets to see Norah Jones last year at Jones Beach Theater. The theater is right on the water, and that lends to the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Whether it's the hottest pop act or James Taylor, the theater adapts to the atmosphere. If you've never witnessed a concert here, you are missing out on something special. more

Specializing in Great Concerts! 8/11/2005

The Jones Beach Theatre is located right off the water, which makes it easy to reach in the evening after a day on the beach. The theatre hosts many concerts, ranging from solo singers to heavy rock bands like Blink 182. The theatre is an open ampitheatre, which makes it a little chilly on cool days, but has impressive acoustics, making it easy to hear the music where ever you're sitting (or standing). more

Amazing Theatre 8/10/2005

This is the most fun I have ever had at a concert in my entire life. Have a great view by the ocean, and listen to the music. Whether its the beach boys or Britney Spears, the concerts are great. The food is expensive, and they don't have straws because they might fly into the ocean. You will have a blast at the concert, every seat is a good seat (even if you have to get mezzainne seats.) more
