Good: Good job by Tim Krings and his crew on roof and remodeling, who took care of the construction.. Bad: Poor and confusing communications and customer service from Midwest Siding, specifically on costs and invoicing throughout the process. After our repeated requests from Steve Bonander, we have yet to receive the promised warranty for the roof, skylight and other construction. Poor followup and response to small details.. Improvements: Would like to receive the promised warranty. Even though we had some questions on the final billing, we paid everything in full, but have not heard from the company since.. Other: Don't do business with this company without an ironclad, written contract detailing all facets of the job.. more

Beware 11/4/2010

Good: nothing. Bad: worst workmanship ever. Wish I had found this site first. Now you cannot even call them on the phone, Their mailboxes are full.. Improvements: I had a roof that did not leak. They installed one that does.. Other: Wish that I had never heard of them. more

It was a very positive experience working with Midwest Siding & Windows We are happy with the end result. It looks great and is noticeably-less noise from outside. Appreciated crews patience with lots of questions and good natured answers. more

Midwest Siding & Windows - BEWARE 3/19/2006

We hired Midwest Siding & Windows, 223 N. Michigan St., Eau Claire, WI, to completely remodel the outside of our home. We had nothing but problems with this contractor. We had to end up hiring a lawyer. Unfortunately, we did not check with the Consumer Protection Agency before we hired this contractor. If we had, we would have known not to hire MSW. This company has several home improvement complaints filed against them, including ours now. Also, there is a court case pending against the company. Before you hire this company or any other company, be sure to check with the Consumer Protection Agency. We do not want what happened to us to happen to someone else. more
