I bought an anti virus program when I bought the laptop. Of course I was up sold. I had a simple question . When I called to ask, I was told I had to bring in the laptop and leave it for repair. I called a computer store and was told how to resolve it. They had no problem selling but asking a simple question was a no -no. You cant even get a tech on the phone unless you call and pay at the 800 number. I want an Apple but not from Micro. more

Poor Service Department 11/21/2009

It took 5 times of bringing in a PC and waiting several days before it could be picked up to resolve a motherboard problem. I was told by the service manager, the don't make money on my particular model PC. Why does it have a Warranty ? more

They only have 19 locations across the USA, 3 of them are in Ohio. http://www.microcenter.com/ Micro Center stores have an enormous amount of any kind of electronic equipment you have in mind. They have a huge selection, high-quality products and wealth of information to help you with your decisions on buying things there. Their stores carry more than 700 different categories and sub categories and that makes nearly 36,000 products in each of their stores. They have a neat 'bargain bin' where you can find substantial savings on items that were returned, etc. These items change often and some may have limited quantities. Their service is exceptional They truly do place the customer at the center of their business. I've ordered from them online and have been pleased with that service as well. more

poor service 4/1/2006

MicroCenter is the worst. They sell computer products, software, and peripherals. There is no problem with their sales department, they are very helpful. The problem is with their warranty and their computer service department. No matter what you come in with to get fixed under your warranty, they try to blame it on you. They say that you damaged the computer, and damage is not covered. After all of the problems I have had with the warranty service I will be buying Dells from now on. more
