We began going to this doctor when we were living in Grand Rapids for a while and fell in love with the practice. He is in the same practice with his dad (Dr. App) also, which provided some confusion for the insurance company. What was wonderful was that he always remembered my husband and I and he would talk to us for a while to build rapport. The office is somewhat dingy and feels like a geriatric office but the office staff is excellent. I remember at one point, being told I didn’t have to pay the co-pay “Just Because.” Very caring and worth the while when you are sick.
