I have been going to Micheal for years. I am such a fan that even though I moved to North Carolina, I still go to Micheal. Over the years I have been every shade of red, had long ahir, short hair. But the one thing that has remained the same since the first time I sat in Micheal's chair, my hair is always amazing. Now if I can only convince him to move. more

I do not know who these great reviews are. This was one of my worst disappointments at a hair salon and I have had some horrendous experiences. I asked for BLONDE I even showed the girl a photograph and she acted all bubble like ""oh yeah we will take care of you."" I told her that I had been through a bad break up from a six year relationship and that i needed this to be good and if she couldn't do it JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH!\r Well I am NOT blonde after six hours in that chair. My hair is caramel, reddish brown and nothing close to what I wanted.\r Also my hair smells like henna right now and I spent hours crying over this.\r \r DO NOT GO HERE if you have any kind of standards!\r \r I can not understand all these good reviews...I have never gone and asked for one thing and literally got everything I told her NOT to do. more

After searching the internet for reviews on a top rated South Tampa hair salon, I settled on Michael Angelo. I had my appointment today, which was the first time I had ever put any type of investment into my hair care, and couldn't be happier. Michael himself did a consultation and really listened to my my expectations and apprehensions. I never felt pressured into getting extra treatments or buying extra products. Michael actually gave me two prices up front: one that had him doing the work and one with Elizabeth. It was my choice. They both taught me how to properly care for my hair. When I left the salon my hair looked and felt natural, which was my intention. My hair looks like my natural color, only better. The entire experience, from consultation to color, cut and styling took about three hours...but it felt like only an hour. I will definitely be going back! I also had a conversation with a woman who had been driving from Clearwater to have Michael do her hair for 10 years. That was definitely a vote of confidence in my book! more

Since going to Michael's I hear this compliment daily! If you want to get people to notice your hair then you have found the place. I have tried alot of salons and have never had anyone achieve such a perfect color and leave with hair that is incredibly healthy and stylish. I look forward to my visit to the salon as the customer service is the absolute best. On top of it all, Michael always runs his salon so efficiently I have never had an appointment run over time. The staff is always happy and ready to help! more

My whole family has been going to Michael Angelo for over 7 years now. It is not only the best hair salon in the Tampa Bay area because of their state of art hair products, but most of all customer service. I have never been in a cleaner, upscale salon that is always on the cutting edge of trends. From hair styles to their very own product line. They just launched their new hair product line and it is wonderful! It is so exciting to have a upscale hair salon in the area. Most of all their staff is always so gracious! Thank You! more

I came to Michael about 10 years ago, I have to tell you my hair was badly damaged. I've always taken good care of my hair, but this one time I ended up at a salon that really damaged my hair & I'm thinking my hair is not growing anymore......well after speaking to Michael, he confirmed my hair was badly damaged & we went from their, I love my hair it's in the best condition ever & down to my waist. Michael is a color expert, he's even matched my color to my original color growing up, it's amazing. They are very professional, very warm setting when you walk thru the door & thru the whole time till you walk out. I also want to mention that they have their own selection of products, great in quality & price. I would definitely run their if I were you. You won't have a better experience with your hair! I have been a client at Michael Angelo's studio for approximately 1 year and during every visit, continue to be extremely pleased with the overall experience. First and foremost, the staff is very knowledgeable in hair trends, treatment, and coloring. During each visit, they encourage an exchange of dialogue to determine ""where you are"" from your hair need's perspective. As evidence of their robust hair knowledge, they have developed their own hair care line, which offers a diverse selection of products that are both reasonably priced and excellent in quality. As a secondary pleasantry, they are extremely accommodating in making your experience like no other, by providing tantalizing treats. Since becoming a faithful customer of Michael Angelo's more than two years ago, my hair is more flattering, healthier and easier to style than it has ever been. People constantly comment on the color, the overall appearance and how well the look, style and shade suits me. Michael always takes the time to talk to me about what I want to do or how I want to look. I have absolute confidence in his opinion but really appreciate that he takes the time to listen. This salon really a sort of a sanctuary. Everyone, from the staff to the clients, is pleasant and friendly. There is always something to drink, eat, read or some peaceful, quiet place simply to unwind and relax while the transformation takes place. Now that they have added their own signature line of Michael Angelo salon products, I know I can easily stock up on whatever I need while I am there. This salon really does it exactly right - on every level.
