Simply awesome!!! This was our first time purchasing from Metropolitan Furniture and all I can say is wow! From the beginning to the end we were treated with the upmost courtesy and respect. There was no high pressure and the pricing was unbelievably good. We knew exactly what we wanted and our sales person Ben was most helpful in taking care of our needs. Sales and Customer service at Metropolitan Furniture is top notch! I have told everyone I know how great our experience was. The delivery people called and gave us a 3 hour window the morning of our delivery. They came on time and set everything up perfectly! Metropolitan Furniture 2 thumbs up! more

Worst Service! 12/7/2009

I hate, hate, hate this place. I bought table and needed two- the second one was on backorder, when it arrived it was damaged and they tried to convince me that they can paint it and fix it- hello???! I don't want to buy a new item and have to wait for it to get fixed. The General Manager is loser and the sales team can't help you without permission from ""the owner"" they could not provide any customer service and the owner is never at work!!! The best they could do is leave a post-it on his desk- PATHETIC! NEVER AGAIN WILL GO BACK! SAVE YOUR money and head somewhere else!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

Best Furniture Store in Houston-Hands Down 11/14/2009

I just bought my entire bedroom and living room furniture sets from Metropolitan, and I honestly can tell you I will never shop another furniture store in Houston. I went to several places, and although some had similar styles and furniture, the prices and selection at Metropolitan cannot be beat. Delivery was quick and easy and professional. Thanks Metropolitan, I now have beautiful furniture and some savings. Pros: Great Price, Great Service more

Nice furniture horrible employees 9/12/2009

Bought some furniture in store and they say they will deliver on saturday . It was Tuesday or saturday . Those are the days when they deliver !! Somebody wakes me up 7 am said we are fixing to deliver your furniture . You up for it ? I say ok . 3 PM nobody is here yet . I am stuck in the house . I call warehouse they tell me I am scheduled for delivery 2-6 PM ( now she tells me ) When I started teling her about my day and that nobody told me she HUNG UP ON ME !! I was going to go for NO stars but review can't be published without it . NO STARS Pros: Pretty furniture good prices Cons: Employees are rude more

Metropolitan Furniture--Great Experience 11/16/2007

I would highly recommend Metropolitan Furniture to anybody looking for affordable and good looking furniture. The store has an incredible variety of tasteful furniture, and my wife and I had the hardest time ultimately deciding what to purchase because there was so much we wanted. The delivery was seamless, and the set up was even better. Our entire house is now furnished with furniture from Metropolitan, and I could not be happier. One of the best things about our shopping experience was the staff. They were really nice and outgoing, but did not pressure us to buy anything. Comparing that to the other stores we visited, this is a marked difference. We will not be going anywhere else in Houston for furniture. more
