not many good pharmacies left around town....except metro drugs!\r the staff are always friendly and helpful....\r i first of heard of metro when a close friend of mine was going thru infertility treatments...she went to metro cuz they had the BEST prices compared to all the other pharmacies....since i live around the corner, i decided to give it a try....the pharmacy may specialize in fertility medications, but carry everything in stock like any other big chain....except it's a more personable atmosphere and the wait time is a fraction of what you wait anywhere else....great service! more

THE BEST PHARMACY HANDS DOWN !!! 8/9/2010

I have to been a customer of Metro Drugs for Years and I Love the service, unlike Duane reade, and the Cvs,s Out there, The Metro Drugs Staff, Treats you like a person,not, a dollar sign. The Pharmacy staff is very professional at All times,and they have impeciable customer service !! They have great OTC bargins and the Managers in Metro Drugs is so Polite.My ONLY problem is that they should open more locations. I know they have one on 931 lexingtion and another somewhere in brooklyn but they should open more.its a great shopping experience for me and all of family and friends say the same ! GO METRO DRUGS ! Great pharmacy 7/31/2010

Metro has a very friendly staff and is very courteous whenever I come on to shop. My prescriptions are filled properly and when my insurance doesn't cover my meds they will call and try to help. The store is neat and clean and always well stocked, prices are good and it is very convenient to get in and out. Pros: great pharmacy customer service more

I've been a Metro customer for many years. In the last four months, they have 'shortchanged' my 60 pill blood pressure prescription by 30 pills at least three times. Only once did they note on the bottle they 'were out' and 'owed me'. Today it happened again with no notification and when I went back the 'counter lady' was 'skeptical', the pharmacist provided the balance and didn't even apologize for the shortage and making me return.\r With Duane Reade across the street and CVS down the block, I'm not going back to Metro ever again. Pros: Can't think of any 'pros' Cons: shortchanging meds more
