Many gay men that I know like to start off their evening at Meteor. They go Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and use it as a springboard to begin a night of partying. The drink prices are great and very reasonable. Plus, they always have drink specials, even on their busiest nights. I recently went on a Thursday evening and a great time. There was a nice crowd and several eligible bachelors there. I love how the seating arrangements place me within a few feet of a guy I am interested in. Meteor is a great place to talk with your friends since you never have to shout over the music, and also a nice place to go and mingle. Its very clean and well kept and the bartenders and managers are superb. I went alone, had a few drinks, met some new people and had a blast!
Pros: free ample parking, never a cover, atmosphere
