I absolutely love this place. We had been out most of the morning preparing for Christmas baking and tree trimming and wanted a bite to eat. We hate to scarf down burgers and the likes but didn't want an extravagent sit down meal. So we stopped in and it was one of the best sandwiches and salads I've had. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors colorful and the owner, a living doll. The salad proved to be an interesting mix of caramelized onions, red grapes, parmesan cheese, grilled herb chicken, pecans and a terrific balsamic dressing of sorts - I could eat this everyday. more

I have eaten here many times and enjoy myself each time. The daily special salads are always good. I struggle to decided between the salad or a sandwich. Share with a friend and try both. If you are a chicken salad sandwich lover try Metanoya's. There are some hot sandwiches also and the men in my life love them! Hearty. Pros: Come eat here with your best friend. Visited here today after a long walk on one of the nearby trails. The cafe sits amidst historic Roswell's quaint neighborhood filled with botique stores. Comfortable sofa set by the right when you enter the cafe makes you think of home and the gazebo with tables and chairs outside is perfect for patio dining. My husband and I both had paninis, extremely tasty and extremely greasy, we both complained our meal just cancelled out our hike workout. I did not like their potato and carrot soup, but I really liked the cornbread that accompanied it. The prices are reasonable, and definitely gourmet quality. Wow...cubed. The first time I experienced Metanoya was solely via their food. Co-worker brought me a sandwich, now I'm hooked. Word's are unable to describe - you've gotta hava a Pannini, and make it a half sandwich half soup combo. The prices amaze me, you get way more than you pay for - not just quantity but the quality is gourmet food. Then there's the ambience, a really cool mix of colors, lighting, local art, and more. Tucked away back behind other shops off Canton Street in Roswell, Metanoya is worth searching out! This is an ideal lunch spot, especially on a nice day when dining outside is desired. I've been 3 times and have been SOOO impressed with my food each time. The top-notch soups, salads and sandwiches are definitely homemade and are worthy of a king!! The outside setting in the back is set up with tables/umbrellas and is charming and relaxing. Don't miss this one! Cons: Hard to find more
