I just ate at Mesa grill yesterday and was very disappointed. The over atmosphere of the restaurant is ok. However, the food is very over priced and was served to us cold. Unfort...

Enjoyable experience! 5/22/2005

Central in the casino, easy to find, and unique ambience. Our service was wonderful, and our food (We both had the pork tenderloin) was delicious. But, contrary to other reviews, the Margaritas were wonderful, and TRADITIONAL, meaning not sweet and syrupy and made out of a mix, these were the REAL THING! Recomended for groups. Pros: l more

Amazing 5/15/2005

One of my best restaurant experiences ever. The food is delicious and innovative. The service was fantastic. I sat at the bar and Cooper the bartender really took care of his customers. He relied on him to recommend some Bobby Flay signature dishes and he did. The Pork Tenderloin was incredible as was the Crab Cake appetizer. The Flan too...was great. more

Incredible food 4/26/2005

I am a Flay fan and was eager to see if the food measured up to the hype, and it DID. My husband had the rabbit and I ordered the filet mignon and we could not get over how intense and yet sublte the flavors were. Bobby Flay is truly a master at seasoning. Everything on my plate was a bite of heaven. The combination of spice and sweet has got to be an art. Service was very good, quite warm and attentive. The wine list was pricey but has a few hidden values. The decor/ambience is OK, a bit monochromatic and not terribly 'romantic' but easily overlooked for the food quality. I wasn't crazy about the location in Ceasar's but whatever. Go!! You won't be disappointed. Pros: Insanely good food, Bang for buck, Service Cons: Ambience, Caesars locale more

Appetizers were the highlight 4/2/2005

We dined at Mesa Grill and had a pleasant experience. Things were good, but not great. Had a very nice shrimp tamale appetizer, however our entrees were much less memorable. Was underwhelmed by the margaritas. Expected much better Margaritas in a ""Tex Mex"" place. They are still new so i guess it will take a little time to make things better, but overall was pretty good. more

nothing short of spectacular 3/15/2005

My brothers had been to Mesa in January and raved about the food. I had seen the documentary and was fascinated, though never a Flay fan. Maybe I'm just a great menu selector, but the entire meal, appetizers through dessert was 10s across the board. All the staff smiled as if they knew us, whether we were their table or not. Loved it!! The maragritas are average or less, but the food and especially blue corn crusted Snapper ROCKS!!! If you don't have a reservation, just show up when the doors open, and you may have a chance. Pros: great service, fabulous food Cons: boring drinks, weak wine list more

Not So Iron 3/8/2005

Was really looking forward to eating at Bobby Flay's restaurant...but was not that impressed. The appetizers were much better than the entrees. The shrimp tamale was delicious, but the rotisserie chicken was dry. The decor was nothing to exciting as was the location. But I guess you have to check the place out in hopes that the Iron Chef will show up. Pros: Flay Cons: Average Food, Expensive more
