Friendly and competent! 9/19/2013

My car was ready so efficiently I didn't even complete a chapter of my book. Thanks Jake and team. more

good value and friendly 9/10/2013

I like to use Mercer Auto because they are local and to me are the better choice for car care. Their pricing is fair and competitive. The repair was timely enough as well. I will definitely use them again. Thanks more

Wait 9/2/2013

I made an appt because I live in Park City and couldn't drop it off. The woman on the phone said If I did that It would be looked at right away and my wait time would be low. I dropped it off at precisely 8am and the guy told me it would be about 15 minutes before they knew what was wrong. 3 hrs later, he came out and said that what I told him was right and wanted to know if I wanted it fixed. 3 hrs! Why make appts if you can't fulfill them? Then it was another 30 minutes before I got my car back after I told him the $2700 fix was too much. I'll never go there again and be told to wait. Even if I would have been told 45 minutes instead of 15 in the beginning that would have been fine. Don't have people sit there waiting to hear from you any minute for over 3 hrs! more

Rip off 8/16/2013

They said there was a problem so they supposedly fixed it. 270 bucks later he exact problem still existed then ghey said it was the ecu or the camshaft and didnt know which one . Bery unknolodgble. And the first time the turned offy check engine light tk make me think that it was fixed more

Honestly Thorough 8/11/2013

I had a great experience with Mercer. They worked long and hard to figure out my oil leak. Not only did they provide me with a loaner so I would be able to get to work but after over a week I was so relieved that the cost was surprisingly fair! more

Park City conveneince 8/3/2013

I appreciate having a shop in Park City that can reliably work on my 1981 Fiat. This is hard to find anyway - so having this convenience in Park City is really great! more

Right Service at Right Price 7/31/2013

Went in for a safety inspection and install of a lift leveling kit that I purchased. Both were done on time and at a fair price. When I logged in to register my vehicle online later in the evening my inspection certificate had been transmitted automatically. more

Great service and affordable pricing 7/24/2013

Mercer Auto was friendly and fast. They were able to get my vehicle in the very next day while I was on vacation from Colorado. I only needed a belt replaced for my A/C and alternator, but it was very affordable and the labor cost was very reasonable for being a "mountain town." I would definitely recommend Mercer Auto. more

Brake repair 7/15/2013

Easy to get an appointment, bid process went smoothly and work was done on time and at a reasonable cost. more

Honesty 7/14/2013

Jake and Nick are awesome! Did only what was necessary and did it well. I always recommend Mercer to my friends. more

Hard work, still bad customer service. 7/12/2013

After bringing in the car for an oil change and telling them about a loud noise coming from the car, they said it was fine and sent me off. The next day my AC failed, and a few days later the belt broke. So given that Mercer is one of the few if only repair shops in town I had no choice to drive unsafely back with without power steering, my not battery charging etc. (how I knew something was wrong, but they did not, still boggles me). This second time around was better. They took me that day because of the urgency of the matter. The man at the front desk looked me in the eye while I explained the problem at least for a few seconds before leaving the room mid -sentence. Over all, they spent a ton of time working on the car for an option that they didn't have to offer, they made sure to make us know how much they were doing me a favor. After sitting in the shop for a day and half they found the right belt that would tightly skip over the A/C (I opted out of replacing the compressor because of its $1200 price tag). For the new belt, the removal of the compressor I was charged about $250. I don't know if this was a good price, but I was happy to get out of there. more

Well organized and efficient 7/7/2013

Jacob does a great job. more

Quick, efficient, and flexible 7/5/2013

On our way to Las Vegas (hot!), we discovered that the air conditioner in our 2011 VW Jetta Sportwagen wouldn't work. Although I didn't have an appointment, the car was sandwiched into their schedule. The air conditioner's problem was identified, fixed and tested within an hour or so. more

They were quick and efficient 6/30/2013

I was fortunate enough to be near them when my alternator failed. Even though it was after hours they allowed me to keep my car there so they could fix it early the next day for me. They were honest and friendly and their quote was reasonable. more

Compare prices, first! 6/29/2013

Although everyone was nice, I was not told of the "diagnostic" charge prior to their examining of my vehicle. In addition, their price for transmission repair was much higher than other places. more

very professional and helpful 6/29/2013

Inspection done in a jiffy, and well-priced. Very helpful and accomodating staff. more

Fast service : ) 6/28/2013

Fast service but incomplete. The mechanic did not complete the work order and I had to wait for another 30 minutes after I was told the job was finished for him to complete his job. Good thing I looked over the vehicle before I left and had a serious accident. more

fast and nearby 6/19/2013

In at noon, out before five. Fixed the problem. Walking distance to my house, what more can I ask? more

Overheated 6/12/2013

My ten year old SUV with 105,000 miles overheated. Dropped by without an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in and diagnose the problem before I finished my beer at Windy Ridge, accross the street. Service was delivered as promised. Everyone was very friendly. Price was a bit higher than I expected, but so is everything in Park City. Good job. more
