Review content:
After bringing in the car for an oil change and telling them about a loud noise coming from the car, they said it was fine and sent me off. The next day my AC failed, and a few days later the belt broke. So given that Mercer is one of the few if only repair shops in town I had no choice to drive unsafely back with without power steering, my not battery charging etc. (how I knew something was wrong, but they did not, still boggles me). This second time around was better. They took me that day because of the urgency of the matter. The man at the front desk looked me in the eye while I explained the problem at least for a few seconds before leaving the room mid -sentence. Over all, they spent a ton of time working on the car for an option that they didn't have to offer, they made sure to make us know how much they were doing me a favor. After sitting in the shop for a day and half they found the right belt that would tightly skip over the A/C (I opted out of replacing the compressor because of its $1200 price tag). For the new belt, the removal of the compressor I was charged about $250. I don't know if this was a good price, but I was happy to get out of there.
