Low balled on time 9/8/2014

Low balled on time of move, movers were very nice but couldn't come close to the time suggested. Still waiting for explanation on how the job went from $900 and change to $1,750. Would recommend movers but not the company. more

Prompt and efficient move 9/2/2014

Had to move from one corporate apartment to another on Long Island. I needed the move done on a weekend that I would be in town and was hoping to get it done in a couple of hours. Men On The Move delivered on all of my requests. They started my 1 bedroom move at 9:30 am on a Saturday morning and were done unloading everything in my new apartment 7 miles away by 12:30. They placed everything where I wanted it, were curteous and didn't scratch a piece of furniture. Highly recommend more

I've used Men On The Move a handful of times and have always found them to be very professional. They show up on time, are courteous, and hardworking. They know what they're doing and have never broken any of my stuff. The service is expedient and they get right to work when they arrive. I've always had excellent experiences with them. more

After several phone inquiries to various moving companies I finally connected with Peter from Men On The Move and my shopping was completed. Peter just was concise and to the point, honest and straight forward..he called and checked back with me after our first conversation and was extremely helpful, supplying a clear detailed proposal for my move and then setting up my pick up date, etc. The men arrived on time and in one hour we were finished with the paperwork, loaded all my pieces, and I was totally comfortable with the whole process. I was contacted by email and by phone prior to the pick up date and during my wait for the arrival of my things. It doesn't get better than this. I will always recommend this company!! more

Made moving fun 8/6/2014

Men On the Move were fantastic. They were very professional, and they knew what they were doing. They were great, and I have no complaints. They packed up my furniture, and they did it fast. They took very good care of my furniture. The five men who came in were very nice, and to be honest, we hit it off. They had a sense of humor, and made my moving experience fun. I was going through a lot of personal problems at the time, and they made moving easier. more

The moving bill was within $30 of the estimate. Questions were answered promptly. Men arrived on or before time. They carefully wrapped all items and worked continuously to move everything into storage. Subsequently a different crew moved us out of storage and into our new abode. The arrived ahead of time; also worked continuously and carefully...placing everything to satisfy me, unwrapped everything and carted away all debris. This move too was below the estimated amount. I would definitely recommend them!. more

Highly professional and excellent customer service 7/28/2014

Men On The Move has been great to work with and they were very helpful in the moving process. These guys showed up promptly and on time for the job, worked tirelessly to get everything done as expected, handled my possessions with the utmost care and respect, and overall I couldn't be happier about how everything went. The level of communication was great as well, with high levels of responsiveness throughout the entirety of the service that allowed for me to feel comfortable while being away from the job site. I would absolutely use these guys again if needed be, although I don't plan on moving again anytime soon. I have also recommended their services to many other folks I know personally and if you are in the market for a local moving company in the Long Island area, consider these folks, they do a great job and you won't be disappointed! more
