Meineke Car Care Center

I recently took my car in to get the oil changed and to have my tires rotated. I had a time constraint as I had to pick up my daughter from school and the management staff was extremely conscious of this, making sure that my car got in as quickly as possible. It took almost no time at all and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this Meineke location to family and friends in the future and will be returning time and again for all my car care needs. Thanks to the new management and the honest technicians at the Meineke on Western Blvd, my family of 4 will always have a place to go with our vehicals.Robert the manager was very nice to me and my wife and offerd my kids a drink at the gas station next door.The shop forman Daniel went over our cars from head to toe and shoped around and found us the cheapest prices around.He fixed our cars very quick and efficiently and assured me if I had any problems at all to bring it back to him.Thanks guys,I would recomend this shop to anybody around especially in the Raleigh area. more

I took my car for an oil change and the technician pointed out a problem with my exhaust which would have caused my car to fail inspection which I was going to do the next month. They offered to fix my problem while I was there and it was fast and not expensive! I was able to get my inspection with no problems! Also, my daughter took her car to have new brake pads put on and they were very professional and nice to her. The technician even offered to show her the old pads and compare them to new ones. My daughter felt they did not try to take advantage of her or mislead her in any way. We will both definitely be back from now on! And we would definitely recommend this to other people as well. more

Watch out sending your college student to this location for service. My NCSU daughter went there for an auto inspection and they failed her car. When challenged about the reason for failing the car the manager was not interested in a discussion. In addition to failing her car inspection and charging her the $30 dollar fee, they also charged an additional $10 fee to check window tinting. $40 for nothing. She went the next day to Mr. Inspection and her car passed inspection. I also want to note that Mr. Inspection did not charge the extra $10 fee for checking window tinting. Make your own judgement call as to where you or your college student goes for auto service! more

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at one of your locations (3908 Western Blvd, Raleigh, NC). I had been to this location a few times before, but I can guarantee I will no longer patronize this location or any other Meineke establishment. On previous occasions I had gotten the Basic Oil change done on my vehicle and it came to $23.07. Today (11/3/10), the same vehicle and the same service cost me $27.65 The service technician said there was a $5.00 skid plate R and R fee. Why hadn't I ever been charged this fee in the past (I have my old receipts)? Ironically, I had a $4.00 off coupon. It is my believe that I was charged this additional $5.00 to make up the difference in the coupon . Sadly, for a mere $5.00 Meineke has lost 2 customers me and my husband. I will also share this experience with my family and friends and post a complaint on the web. It is very disappointing to feel that I was taken advantage of. Also, my appointment was scheduled for 11am, however, they didn't pull my vehicle into the garage until 11:30. Additionally, I joined the Car Care Club and never received my coupon, even after I added Meineke and the appropriate email address to my contacts list. I had to print the subscription information page as verification. Please remove me from the Customer Care Club. more

I took my car for an inspection and they failed me. I took it to another place and that one said it was fine and that what i was failed for my car didn't have. I took it back and the guy was like "oh ok then you pass" more

I got my inspection there and they failed me because they didn't know where parts of my engine were, had to go to another mechanic to get them explained and go back to show them that they were wrong, then they passed my inspection. more
