My husband and I had a rather unpleasant experience while shopping for a Mother's ring. From the time we walked in until we left, we felt as though no one wanted to assist us. The only person who acknowledged we even walked in appeared to be a security guard.\r
The sales associate who finally offered his help didn't actually have any help to offer. We asked about the rings we were looking for and he told us they do not carry them in the store, they can only order them. He never offered a single brochure, book, website, or any other means to determine what they have to offer. Then he said ""Besides, it's probably too late to order one now anyway,"" implying that he assumed we wanted it for Christmas, but never actually asking if that was the case.\r
We walked out after less than 5 minutes, and we will never walk back in. We drove just a short ways to Direct Gold and Diamond, had an excellent woman assist us, and made the purchase. They offered to replace the gemstones in the ring we bought with the colors I need for my Mother's ring, and resize it, for free. They gave us a significant discount off the price on the ring, and it should be ready in less than a week...plenty of time before Christmas.
