Mc Nellie's on Wednesday! 4/17/2006

Every Wednesday night, this fairly newcomer to Tulsa's restaurant scene serves huge hamburgers with either large cut fries or skinny-mini sweet potato fries - all for $3.00. Yes, its one of the best bargains around. The hamburgers are bigger than I would make on the grill at home. They have to be cut in half for me to get them into my mouth. They have lots of beers from everywhere, and even have a beer sampler with 6 or so small glasses. I don't drink, so all I have is water with my meal, and $3.00 is a lot of food and a fun time out. This place is very busy when I go, but the food is good. Lots of families meet here, probably because of the location. Don't miss this! more

Fun atmosphere, good food! 9/29/2005

McNellie's is a fun place to go- on a lunch break from work or into the evening. Before I say anything else- I must say...try the sweet potato fries! They are very different, but very good. They really grow on you. The burgers are really good as well, and they are very big. Although I didn't have beer, the selection is huge. I defintely recommend McNellie's for those looking for a relaxing, casual meal or drink. more

McNellie's is new pub that went into downtown Tulsa. McNellie's has over 60 beers on tap and something like 200 bottled beers. It has an awesome collection for the beer connoisseur and the novice drinker. The first floor is also non-smoking, so you can enjoy the pub and not smell like a cigarette. The second floor is the smoking section. They have live music on Tues and Thur nights. And $3 hamburger night on Wed. They also have a menu for lunch and dinner, however, I haven't had any of their food yet. For those that want to go out and social with your friends but are tired of the bar scene this is the place to check out. more
