Despite mixed reviews, my wife and I decided to give the place a try. As it turned out everybody's review was either right or wrong about everything.\r
The female waitperson was great, she did everything right by us.\r
The calamari can only be described as blasé, but not in a good way.\r
My entree Saltimbocca alla Romana was quite alright, the veggi presentation superb. The "cutlet" provenance was "free range veal". I assume that means a calf that was allowed to walk around the corral, the flesh seemed to have a bit more texture than "conventional veal."\r
This is where the experience starts to decline. I should begin by mentioning that the online menu dinner price for my plate is $18.95, the hard copy menu exhibits $21.00. My better half ordered what we were later informed was a new menu item, Bistecca/something!!
