Excellent Staff...Dr Hankins! 2/27/2008

I recently purchased a Pug for my fiancee named Mr.Snubbz and we have been going ever-since we first picked him up the staff here ginueally cares about your pet and it shows from the moment the secretary greets up until you actually see the doctor. The techs love to see Mr.Snubbz even just for routine checkups. The place is always clean and smells wonderful (unlike some pet hospitals). I would recommend anyone to bring their pet to this facility even if you are not in the general area, drive the extra few miles you won't regret it. THANKS DR. HANKINS! more

pet hospital 7/3/2005

i've taken my cat there and the staff is wonderful. very friendly and knowledgeable about things. my cat was totally relaxed there. they definitely don't try to rush you out more

  • Since our formation in 1955, Mayfield Pet Hospital has served the needs of tens of thousands of dogs and cats and their owners. In 2011, senior veterinarian and owner Dr. James Ringer retired and the practice was taken over by Dan Winger who has worked at Mayfield Pet Hospital for 26 years. As Dan says, A lot of veterinarian practices can seem cold and can leave people with the feeling that theyre all about the money. Thats not what were about. At Mayfield Pet Hospital we know our clients well. Theyre like family to us. We love dealing with our clients and taking care of their animals. Theres nothing more satisfying than a dog or cat coming in sick and going home licking your face. Senior Veterinarian Dr. Nancy Hankins agrees: We have a family feel here. We dont want someone to feel like theyre in a hospital. Dr. Jacyln Olson adds: I love the client interaction and taking care of the animals. We treat them like our own.
