Great store, great service!! I went to a few jewelry stores along jewelers row and a few in the mall. Didnt really have a clue on what i was looking at, but when i went to Max Weiners, Will explained everything about diamonds and what to look for. I told him how much i wanted to spend and showed him a picture of something i was interested in. He did not have anything in the store like that, so he had the ring custom made. It turned out better than expected and was right in the middle of my price range. Most importantly, my girlfriend (now fiance) is very happy with it. I highly recommend Max Weiner to anybody looking for any type of jewelry, especially an engagement ring. Needless to say, we will be returning for our wedding bands with in the next few months. more

For me, Max Weiner's store is the ONLY place to go for an appraisal for insurance purposes. His prices for appraisals are competitive, and the appraisal is completed on-the-spot (time permitting at the store and depending on the number of customers waiting). Max creates a full-sheet, thorough, laminated appraisal for you to take home with you. Laminated appraisals are the way to go because they cannot be folded, stuffed into an envelope, and lost or accidentally thrown away. Max's experience in diamonds is unbeatable. He has the best certifications in the industry. For the selective, he carries a fabulous selection of estate jewelry. I have seen his staff work with their customers, and they treat everyone well. When I started looking for an engagement ring I read reviews of stores on Jewelers Row online. I went to Max's because he had all positive reviews and I was very satisfied as well. Very nice staff--I told them my budget and they did a great job of helping me find something beautiful for a little less. And my fiance loves it as well. I recently proposed to my girlfriend in Mexico. I bought a "temp" ring until I could get the one she wanted. I know NOTHING about diamonds or rings. I was nervous about buying the "right" ring until I walked into Max's and met Max, Ben and Rich. Ben walked me through what makes a beautiful diamond and ring step by step. Although my questions were dumb, he responded in the most kind and gentle manor. He asked what my budget was and helped to select rings that were within that range that were amazing. I was taught that any diamond can be mounted onto any setting. Rich then helped to select a ring that was perfect. After we finished the sale he took me aside and recommended different insurance companies and gave me his contact number in case I have any more questions. The ring was ready within 48 hours. Max had his jeweler mount, clean and polish it in 2 days time. He then called to let me know it was ready ahead of time. When I walked in to the shop, to pick up the ring, I was greeted by Max and Ben by name. They said ?Welcome back Mr. Smith, wait until you see your ring.? Ben asked me to close my eyes so I would be surprised when I see the ring. When I opened the box it seemed as if the ring had gotten bigger and brighter. It was PERFECT. We went to Max Weiner for our engagement amd wedding rings. Max was GREAT! He was honest about everything, his prices were great, he had a lot of helpful suggestions, and the rings were absoulutley beautiful! I highly recommend Max, this is the first time I've ever left a jewelry store completely satisfied and not wondering if I could have done better elsewhere. Max is the best. My wife loves her earrings and upgrade on her wedding ring. We went back recently and I brought my wife a bracelet and when we went back to upgrade, Max gave me a credit of what I spent on the first bracelet and added it to her new one. I recently had my rolex band adjusted at Max Weiner and Max was exceptionally courteous by not only adjusting the band but didn't charge me anything. The service was extremely proffessional. We were referred to Max by dear friends of ours. They told us that Max was a very genuine, talented and honest jeweler. They were spot on! My fiance bought my engagement ring from Max and I couldn't be more amazed by it! It is the most stunningly-gorgeous ring...and I'm not the only one who thinks so! I get so many compliments on it. Max has an amazing eye and great taste. He custom made my ring with just the basic info from us (i.e. diamond "four C's" and budget)...and he couldn't have made it more perfect!! Yes, they have very nice jewlery and the saleswoman was very friendly. But, if you are looking to sell you jewlery do not go here! I wrote Max and e-mail and drove an hour to see him. When I finally got there, he treated me like an idiot trying to sell him junk. I'm no expert on jewlery or the value of it. But just because you didnt like my pieces you didn't have to act like a rich snob Max! You made me feel like the biggest noboby in the world. Thanks for nothing. more

Walking along jeweler's row is intimidating. I went into 6 places and they all just tried to sell me, no one cared if I got what I wanted. Then I went into Max Weiner and talked to Max himself. I told him I wante earring for my wife and he showed my at least a dozen great things, all within my price range. My wife loved them and I have gone back many time. No reason to walk along jeweler's row any more, I go right to max's and so should you. more
