This place has been closed for over 4 years. Imperial Fez in Louisville has belly dancing every night and Tangiers in north Boulder has dancing on weekends. more

NY rudeness in Colorado 11/19/2007

The service in this restaurant is terrible, They were really rude to all of us. At some point the waiter was almost throwing our food to the table from the door....... spilled our drinks......what else? be prepared to eat what you did not order, and dont even think about complaining. All of them will assured you that it was your fault. NO comp food here, you will pay for it anyway. Pros: Etnic Cons: Bad service more

Go At Least Once! 4/6/2007

This restaurant is one that everyone should go to once. The atmosphere is great, the food is okay, not bad just very different. I had rabbit. A great place for a romantic dinner. It is not a restaurant that people are use to going to, with sitting on the floor to eat, belly dancers during certain hours. Very recommended. more

Sit on the floor and eat with your hands... 2/23/2005

The restaurant seemed pretty run down and eating cous cous with your hands isn't an enjoyable experience. I went with a large work party (18 people) and tried several of the different dishes - none were above average. Just not an enjoyabe visit. more

A beautiful experience 11/8/2004

Walking into this restaurant is like entering a different world. The restaurant is dim while they play lively Middle-Eastern music in the background. You remove your shoes and sit on colorul pillows, each one different from the other. The entire 5-course meal, including the delicious soup is eaten all with your own hands, of course only after your hands have been washed by your server with scented water. Each course was filled with amazing flavors you wouldn't even think to combine. Chicken is sprinkled with sugar while lamb is stewed with apricots. You don't have to be adventurous to come here, but rather appreciate beautiful cuisine. The night ended with our server sprinkling rose and orange blossom water on our hands and face. Even as I was heading to bed, I still smelled of roses and oranges. This is one experience that doesn't end after you leave the restaurant. more

Fantastic food and service 1/24/2003

This is the most unique and amazing resturants I've ever had the pleasure of attending. The ambience is warm and intimate, or rather it can be. It's a very social place for large groups as well. You sit on your knees or cross-legged on mountains of comfortable pillows. You eat with your hands some (actually a lot) of the most delicious food you've ever tasted. Many times dinner is accompanied with a belly-dancer. The waiters are very kind; if you haven't eaten there before, they walk you through the process. The only complaint I have is that the music is a little wild and unnerving. Authentic moroccan indeed, but it's not the most pleasent sound to we accustomed to western music. This, however, is no reason not to try this experience-and-a-half. Pros: Ambience, Culture Cons: Expensive more

Dining that's an Event 9/16/2002

This was by far one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had in such a long time. Exceptional Dining at reasonable prices! The sangria was just amazing as was the vegetarian entrees & main courses. Such a great dining experience! more
