I started patronizing the Massage Arts Center a few years ago because of the quality services they offer at such great prices. All of the students are extremely proficient, courteous and professional. I first encountered massage therapist Erik Everts while he was studying at the MAC and was immensely impressed with his adeptness and tremendous degree of skill. After graduation, some students stay on at the school as apprentices and associate practitioners. I was extremely fortunate that Erik remained at the school as an associate and became my regular therapist. He is a true master in many different alternative treatments....Swedish massage, Thai massage, deep tissue work, reiki, and cranial sacral -- just to name a few. He has absolutely found his calling as a healer. Erik has such a high level of professionalism and immediately puts you at ease, creating a comfortable, relaxing and safe atmosphere. His communication skills are superb, his draping techniques impeccable, his vast array of therapeutic treatments are amazing, plus he often combines aromatherapy into sessions to enhance your experience. I cannot recommend Erik highly enough; he is a true credit to the school and an excellent reflection of their high standards and the caliber of their students. I definitely suggest that you check out the excellent services provided by Erik Everts and all the other accomplished therapists at the MAC!
Pros: quality of service, great prices, soothing ambience
Cons: it might be a trek for some people to make it into Center City, but definitely worth it!
