Almost perfect! 6/22/2011

My therapist is a Dr. of PT with great bedside manner. She knows what she is doing and she cares about how you feel most importantly. She listens, which is very different from most Dr.'s I could say they might use some help on the front desk side sometimes you may get one of the ladies in a bad mood and watch out! more

Hats Off to Marina Physical Therapy 10/5/2010

This is the first time in my life when I've needed physical therapy, a left shoulder rotator cuff injury. I've received treatment both pre and post surgery here and it's been excellent. This is a very friendly well-run place and the therapists are definitely skilled in their science. I've seen Karen and Frances and both are equally terrific. Everyone here is genuinely nice and it shows. They've really helped me immeasurably -- my post surgery recovery is speeding along beautifully. more

Marina Physical Therapy is wonderful 9/5/2010

I have been going to Marina Physical Therapy for many years with past neck injuries and an auto immune disease that causes chronic pain for me daily. All the therapists that work on me are wonderful....Jill, Francis, Eva, Dottie and Karen. I get a lot of relief from pain and their loving care helps me get back to life!!!! The front desk is also very pleasant as Cathy, Kristine and Stephanie help everyone with a smile when they enter the office. Cynthia Svezia more

Marina Physical Therapy helps! 7/22/2010

After my torn meniscus and surgery of my left knee, my doctor recommened Marina Physical Therapy. I had Physical Therapy before for my neck and shoulder elsewhere and was very disappointed because the Therapist never touched me, told me to stretch and handed me some weights. One day the Therapist told me to lie on a gym ball (for my neck?)\r \r Anyway, I went to MARINA PHYSICAL THERAPY and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!\r I was greeted by caring, warm, helpful people at the front desk.\r The Therapist, named Frances, explained everything to me, very knowledgeable. I started with riding the bike then heat and electric stimulation on my knee, followed by a tissue massage that really got the swelling down. Exercises came next and then ultrasound and ice at the end.\r No problem with paying my bill or insurance issues.\r I was up and walking perfectly in 1 week!\r \r \r \r Pros: Warm, friendly, healing atmosphere, top notch Therapists! Cons: Never want to be discharged! more

I would NEVER go to this branch again 7/12/2010

The therapist Eva was great, but when I tried to set up a payment plan (I've been out of work for a while and needed to pay in partial) they sent me to the corporate offices to set up the plan. I applied for hardship and faxed the paperwork in. FIrst response, they lost the paperwork. I re-faxed and then after numerous calls, I learn the woman had left the company so I had to start over. Three weeks later, they tell me their accounts dept has move to Atlanta or Tennessee. I have left message after message to get this handled. I tried contacting the MDR office and the woman in charge STEPHANIE is so difficult. When she finally returns a call (after 3 or 4 messages) she tells me this company doesn't take payments online, they must be sent via mail. WTH? It's the 21st century. Who doesn’t accept online payments? I have left messages on their general line no one ever answers the main line and have not received one call back from the accounting dept. So, I call Stephanie again and tell her that I'd like to send a payment in, she says I have to walk it into the office, they do not accept payments via mail. It's a 45 minute drive. It's now 9 months that I have been dealing with this. I get to a certain point, then feel like I'm going to blow a gasket and stop dealing with it. Then I try again and get STEPHANIE again and get nowhere. I called the Brentwood branch and they said, ""of course you can mail a payment in"" So why wont this moron allow me to? I would never go to this branch again. It is so unreasonable that they will not work a people and I WANT TO PAY THEM! This woman should be fired immediately - every time I think I'm getting somewhere it falls apart - even the office staff knows she's difficult because they make it obvious that's how she is to all patients. I am at a loss as to how this company is still in business. And when there are a glut of good unemployed people, how this woman manages to keep her job. GO to any other branch but this one! more

The BEST Physical Therapy Clinic 5/21/2010

Clearly the below person knows nothing about insurance billing procedures. First of all Physical Therapist go through the same amount of school as a doctor and a 1 hour treatment should cost $160. When you bill insurance companies you only bill for ONE thing! And then the insurance companies only pay for about 1/2 of what you bill for.\r \r MPT is the BEST physical therapy clinic in Los Angeles! They spend one hour with you (wheras most places only spend 30min for the same price.) The exercises are creative and specific to individual needs, and they spend time to create a relaxing healing environment. \r \r Check them out: they also do FREE community postural classes, lecture, and post therapy workshops! Pros: Attentive, Energetic, and Creative more

Overpriced, unattentive, poor physical therapy 10/22/2008

Went here after a bad car accident for help with my knees, neck, and back. I received mediocre treatment and was left alone most of the visit while the therapist tended to other patients. The worst part was receiving the bill! I cannot believe someone can charge $168 for 15min of ""manual therapy"" or $112 for 15min of ""therapeutic exercise"". \r If you do go here find out how much you are paying BEFORE you have your first appointment. If you need something in the area try Evolution PT. more
