Marina de Rey Pharmacy is always very helpful and helps me find the things I need for the Guafenisen Protoccol of Dr. St. Amand. If it weren't for them I would have a horrible time finding the things I need. Thank you to all who work there that makes my days a little easier.\r Barbara more

Excellent Customer Service!!!! 1/10/2012

This pharmacy was recently recommended to me. I am very impressed with the customer service! The staff is very helpful and I receive my mail orders promptly. I wish they were my local drugstore. The people in Los Angeles are very fortunate to have them! more

The Best Around 1/6/2012

I feel someone needs to come to the defense of the BEST PHARMACY in Los Angeles that I've had the pleasure of doing business with, for many years: First, Crimsongirl, I'll give you credit for being elderly and ""tech-savvy."" However, you should know that no matter how ""difficult"" your last name is, the pharmacy doesn't need your name in order to do a refill. You can simply give them your RX# in the top right corner of your bottle. But since you're obviously so smart and intuitive as to critique a place based on one experience, I'm sure you knew that. Secondly, I couldn't help but read your past reviews on other locations. Aside from 1 or 2 positive reviews, there is a surprisingly high number of negative ones. Based on this trend of displeasure and disappointment everywhere you go, you seem to be very unhappy. Perhaps you should think about mixing in an antidepressant, when you go to Ralph's. You know, that large chain store that treats every one of their customers with warmth and consideration...Please. Finally, though I know that Fibromyalgia is a very controversial and not well understood disease, your indifference and disdain towards something you know absolutely nothing about is extremely ignorant. Instead of posting cretinous reviews and offering up mindless advice all day, take an attempt at kindness, patience, and understanding. You might see some of that bitterness you carry around, fall away. more

No way will I come back here 12/27/2011

I thought I had found my new hometown pharmacy, for the rare occasions I need a prescription. Came in today to just leave a refill request and they were crowded with a mom and four shrieking kids running amok with bags of candy, so I came back 30 minutes later. They were still crowded with the same bratty four kids with their mom, and apparently the kiddies were brought in just to buy candy and it took more than a half hour to guide them to exactly the right kind of crap they shouldn't be eating in the first place. None of the employees were at all interested in even acknowledging people with medical or prescription issues, because, well, these brats were so much more intriguing to them. No one even approached me in any way, like to say ""wait a minute, be right with you,"" either time. Oh no. The first order of business is little hellions who are earning you a revenue of $0.03 per hour, each. You wouldn't want repeat customers paying up to $500/month per prescription now, would you? Silly, silly, old me. And yes, old people can be tech-savvy, sorry about that. I couldn't get the clerk's attention, she was so entraptured by these screaming brats, so I left without leaving my refill. Did I mention they took up the entire staff's time for a half hour?! I have a difficult last name, so I can't seem to order it over the phone. I walked a half-hour to get there, and a half hour to get home, without my prescription. I'll bet the mom was driving some platinum-plated Lexus SUV and lives next door. Guess I will try again tomorrow and then steer clear of this clown show forever once I can at least just get my refill. Apparently they are the go-to drugstore for fibromialgia, whatever the heck that fake illness that could obviously be prevented by eating right and exercising is, so I'm sure they'll stay in business. I'll be going to the Ralph's pharmacy from now on, where people actually care about you. Avoid this place. Unless you need sugar-fueled babysitting for an hour. more

BY FAR THE BEST!!! 2/3/2011

I've been going to Marina del Rey Pharmacy/Fibropharmacy for the past 15 years, and they never cease to impress me with their kindness, speed, and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need. Truly the best! more

Poor customer service (This Pharmacy is now Fibro Pharmacy 9/22/2010

I've been shopping her since (last year) one of my family members became ill. Unfortunately, I don't know where else to get my family member's prescription or else I'd shop elsewhere. On several occasions, the staff here have been condescending and rude to me. (In person & on the phone) You would think they would be more professional in dealing with sick people. I spend lots of money each month here, so I think I deserve basic, friendly customer service. I'm so tired of poor customer service. So I decided to make others aware of this pharmacy's weakness and hope they improve. more
