Mansion Grove Apartments

I had been staying here the last 3 years. I remember this place used to be quiet, safe and family oriented. Lately things had been gotten so much worse that I am considering moving out before the end of my lease. The construction is a nightmare. My apartment is actually no where near the construction site but I am already feeling the pain. I would leave my freshly washed car outside in the outdoor parking (not near construction) for a weekend and it would all cover in a thick layer of dust. Don't even think about opening the window. Noise is consistently bad during the weekday early morning. Parking is a joke. I came back one afternoon on a sat afternoon (around 3pm) and had to circle around the whole complex several times before I can get a spot. If you work *late* and came home after 6pm (yeah) you are pretty much out of luck. They no longer have the nice conceirge. Residents wanting to pick up their packages have to fight with potential tenants for leasing staff's attention. Last time I had to wait for 30 mins before someone would help. Some of their new staff are really unprofressional. On my new lease they did lower my rent. Even so I am still considering moving out. It is just not worth it. This place is awful for the next 2 years the whole complex will be a construction site. They are getting rid of pools and other amenities. The apartments have NO closet space and verypoor floorplans. Management will lie to your face. Very dishonest DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Pros: NONE Cons: EVERYTHING more

Mansion Grove is starting a 21 month construction project on site building 7 new bldgs of 3 to 4 stories (124 apartments). this buildings are being build "in between" (yes, I am not joking) existing bldgs. So imagine if you would like to live and raise your family "on" the construction site and Pay US$1600+ per month for that! We the existing residents are stuck with the leases, but I feel obligated to warn propsective tenants about what they are getting into... Please read the lease carefully, ask for construction plans and walk around the property to make sure this is what you want.
