I do not recommend this therapist. I think she inflicts more harm than good, and engages in shady billing practices. Chris Clearday offers a "1 hour free session", but what that really means is that after you sign up for sessions lasting anywhere from 3-6 hours, she will deduct the fee for one hour. She charges $110 per hour, and it isn't clear when you schedule an appointment how long she will keep you there. Most of the session time is spent asking you pages and pages of questions that you have to answer using a 10-point scale. Then she sends you out of the room for 20-30 minutes to "work up a treatment plan", during which you are being charged for time spent. The Reiki treatment is very relaxing, but she insists on trying to do psychotherapy during the treatment, which is distracting and at time downright annoying. Her psychotherapy essentially consists of trying to get you to see that "you are the creator of your experiences" and that if you've experienced trauma, you somehow "drew it to you because you felt that is what you deserved." In other words, blame the patient for the trauma  and hand it back to her with a large serving of shame. more

I am a full- time student who has suffered for years from chronic back-pain, depression and immune issues. Marco was willing to give me the student rate, which was great, because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford treatment. As well as helping me through acupuncture, Marco has helped me to heal myself by encouraging me to improve my diet, be physically active, and really face emotions and limiting self-beliefs that get in the way of being the powerful woman I want to be. Its important to me to feel safe and comfortable with male practictioners, and there is no one I would trust more than Marco. He has helped me to take control of my life and my health. As I am interested in going to Acupuncture school for my masters, Marco was also nice enough to allow me to come in and volunteer at his clinic. Because of this, I have been able to learn about acupuncture and running a business in a very fun and informative way. I am so glad I met Marco.
