I'm a new patient that scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and crown after reading the other reviews on Judy's Book. Very satisfied with Dr. Daar's work and friendly staff.

Drillin and Fillin 12/21/2011

Dr. Daar was very kind when I expressed my fear of pain from the needles and provided extra time for numbing medicine to kick in. He did not make me feel silly and was patient with me. The assistant was very friendly as well. They made a bad event of getting dental work a good experience. more

Crowned! 11/26/2011

The doctor removed a filling with which he was not happy, refilled the tooth, nd put on a temporary crown while my permanent one is being made. There was a lot of drilling and some blood, and my gums hurt afterward, but at least I know it was done right. more

Wisdom Teeth 11/24/2011

After waiting too long to get my wisdom teeth out, I was very fearful of the whole procedure. Everyone told me horror stories and how awful it would be (lots of pain, hours in the chair, days & days of recovery, etc.) Well let me tell you, it was an absolute breeze. I was in & out in less than an hour (and I had to have all 4 pulled at the same time). It was quick, painless, and I already felt back to normal by the afternoon. The next day I felt like I never even had a procedure done. Thank you Dr Daar & Miranda! :) more

Dental Assistant: Justice I am always a bit uneasy when a new DA is assigned to me. However; she did a great job at putting me at ease, she had a gentle way about the cleaning, and she was thorough. She did a good job and I thought I would take the time to point that out. ~Andrew Pagano more

As much as I don't like going to the dentist, I will go out of my way to go to MFD. They are so nice, usually on time if not early, and beyond easy to work with! more

My daugter loved the services she felt comfortable. She's going back because of the staff. Made it so much more better. Even though she was scare. She's even getting her rootcanal and she s going by her self. Thank you for making my whole family feel better more

Cleaning and Repair... 10/27/2011

Chris Baumann is a thorough cleaning technician with a delightful chair-side manner. Dr. Daar is an experienced and fully competent dentist with an equally pleasant disposition. Add to that a cheerful admin staff and a penchant for always running on schedule and I find myself with absolutely nothing to complain about. Regardless of the reason for my visits, somehow they are always running on schedule. These are the reasons I continue to travel to Manchester Family Dental though I now live 20+ miles away. more

Accomodating 10/19/2011

I called to let the staff know I was a going to be few minutes late because traffic on I-84 was backed up due to rain. They said they would try their best to accommodate me. I arrived and they immediately took care of me. Friendly staff from the front desk to the doctor and assistant. more

They make a bad experience good! 10/19/2011

I changed from my old dentist because they always overbooked and I waited up to an hour sometimes for my appointment. I have never waited at MFD. From the receptionist to the dentise everyone is very courteous and helpful. I get very nervous about getting work done and they talked me through it the whole time and made me feel at ease. more

Amazing Experience 10/17/2011

The staff here is excellent. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the paperwork was easy, and I got in on time. My dental hygienist, Jess, was amazing. She definitely knew her stuff... explained to me the x-rays she took, as I was a first time patient, and cleaned my teeth virtually pain-free. She was very aware of my teeth sensitivities and didn't scratch at my roots like most hygienists do, and she did a very thorough cleaning without making my gums bleed everywhere with the cleaning instruments and the floss. Dr. Daar was very friendly and explained to me what needed to be done and that it could be done easily and painlessly. Best dentist practice I've ever been to! Couldn't have been happier with my google-search to find them! more

Amazing Dental Experience. 10/17/2011

I moved to CT last year and looked around for dentists and found this place, with great reviews. All I can say is that I agree with every great review of this place. I got in on time, paperwork was easy, and my dental hygienist, Jess, was amazing. She took xrays and she explained all of the xrays and health of my teeth to me using the pictures on the computer. Then she cleaned my teeth and it was virtually painless... probably the best teeth cleaning I've ever had... she didn't kill my gums with the cleaning instruments or the floss and was very aware of my teeth sensitivities and didn't kill me by scraping at my roots and such... The doctor was quick, but thorough and explained to me what needed to be done and that it could be done quickly and easily next time i see them. I know this all sounds crazy, but I had a wonderful experience at this dentist and will definitely be coming back. Thank you very much Manchester Family Dental! more

I had seen Dr. Daar in the past and moved out of state. He was my first choice when returning to the Manchester area. He and his staff were extremely helpful and understanding. They also understand the anxiety and fear some people feel about the dentist! more
