Back in the late 70's and throughout the 80'swe use to go here regularly, but this AM I was a little disappointed. I got there a bout 9:30 on a Sun., which was perfect timing, sat right down. My waitress was a delightful young college girl, who was very attentive. The prices are terrific and with the exception of the chicken fried steak, everything was good. The steak was like a bath tub toy, orange and rubbery. But the hash browns, gravy and eggs were all done just right. The Bloody Mary had plenty of vodka and a nice celery salt/Old Bay rim. The Coconut Cream pie had Cool Whip topping, but was still very tasty and half the price of our favorite spots that use real whipped cream. It was good enough to earn a ""to go"" slice for my pregnant daughter, who has developed quite a fondness for the Coconut Cream pie over the last 9 months.
Pros: prices, service, selections
Cons: The chicken fried steak was orange and rubbery
