I recently moved in Hacienda Heights and tried Malan a few times. The first time I had it I thought it was a little bland but the second time was great. I can't remember what I ordered the first time but the second time I order one of their house specialty beef noodles and loved it.
And the fact that they make fresh noodles to order was a great touch.

Cons: You have to know what you are getting
