Excellent in Every Way! 5/21/2010

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here , and it was fantastic! The food and service are beyond compare. The price we paid included everything - so there was no extra charge for a private room, bartender, wine and soft drinks, chivari chairs, table for place cards, table settings. The wedding reception was held at a different location, and there was a separate charge for all those things. So even though the cost per head may seem high, it really isn't once you factor in all the extras. Pros: Wonderful food and service Cons: None more

Special Events Only 5/4/2009

I have only been a guest at this restaurant for special events and it is my understanding that they are not open on a regular basis to the general public. At the times I have been here, the service was attentive and the food delicious, but I had no choice in the food. If you get invited to an event here, you will be pleased and you should consider this place for a wedding or special event. Pros: Great service, good food Cons: Only open for special events more

My favorite special occasion restaurant 1/23/2006

I love great service. Maison Jardin has ADULT waiters who are well-trained, professional, and care about their level of service. You won't find your neighbor's teenager working tables for gas money, but real, live adults who are actually trained. Be prepared to spend more than your average restaurant, but well, well worth it if you appreciate old fashioned service and an ambiance to die for. The food is exquisite. Diners are not rushed but served in leisure with appropriate pauses between courses. Definitely call for reservations. My wife and I love Maison. We even got married there. From the grounds, to the wedding planner, to the wait staff...outstanding. This is the place to get married or have any kind of function. more

This place is all looks!!! The food compares to that you would get a bal, dried out chicken, and meats with no flavor! I can't believe this place made the top ten! more

It's hard to find anything is dislike about this restaurant. The food is top-notch and the service is impeccable. A little pricey, but the best places always are. If you like French food, this is the place. Elegant and romantic, a great place for a special evening. more

We've been to Maison & Jardin numerous times and it's always a treat, always special. Never disappointing. It remains THE place to go for birthdays, anniversarys, holidays, and any time we want to treat ourselves to the best. more

I have eaten here several times and, while it is expensive, it is a romatic place to take someone for a special occassion. It has good food, and a beautiful setting outside. Pros: goog food, nice decorations, good service Cons: expensive, stuffy atmosphere more

One of our most memorable anniversary celebrations was held at this lovely restaurant. We were seated in a small area overlooking the garden and the moon was streaming in. As this was a treat from our children, we were extremely well taken care of. A violinist was even there and played for us. The food was delightful although I remember our service and treatment even more. more

I have visited Maison approximately 15 times over the past eight years, and I even met my wife there three years ago. We went back last night to celebrate that "anniversary". Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The service was awful! We waited for nearly 20 minutes (with menus closed) before our waiter took our food order. Twice, more than ten minutes passed with no beverage until the waiter filled my wine glass. We waited so long for the waiter to bring the box with my wife's "leftovers" and to pick up the check, that we departed without the "leftovers." The food was also below standard. We needed to add substantial salt and pepper to all of our courses. The escargot in puff pastry now uses a large quantity of spinach to conceal and substitute for the proper quantity of escargot. Maison ruined our special night! more
