Magic Touch Mechanical

In August 2013, my AC went out and I began getting estimates from many AC companies. I was just about to make a decision when I ran across an ad from Magic Touch Mechanical. I saw they were the National Contractor of the Year: Air Conditioning Contractor of America 2013, which caught my eye. I then looked them up on the BBB and saw they were an A+. So I called them and they came out that evening and fit me into there schedule. Challen Hansen came to provide the estimate. He was extremely professional and friendly. He then did a complete evaluation of my residence and even went into the attic and crawl space under the kitchen floor. This took approximately an hour where as most other companies took 5 minutes. He was completely throughout in his evaluation of my residence to make sure his company provided the best possible options for a new packaged heat pump. He then sat down with me and provided the different options and answered all my questions. He also did not pressure us to make a decision. We agreed to go with Magic Touch and they scheduled the install in two days. The installers arrived early and were very professional. They had everything scheduled and even had a crane to remove the old unit and put the new one on the roof. They worked hard throughout the day and would not have even stopped for lunch if I did not bring them a pizza and something to drink. The installers were very knowledgeable and even went above the call of duty when they noticed something could be done to improve the air ducts in my house (which they fixed without charge). The made sure the unit was installed correctly, looked good, and worked properly. While the installers were at my residence, Challen came out to see if they were doing ok and to see if I had any questions. The installers finished around 5pm and sat down with me and explained everything. In all, Magic Touch Mechanical is an incredible company. I had this company do a check up on my furnace and test the air ducks for air leaks. I got more than I expected for the price. Very smart of them to do all they did for a little over a hundred dollars because I will use them from now on. I did buy the duck sealing and the difference is noticeable and worth the $400 I spent. The people were very neat and professional. more

My house is 16 years old and never cooled or heated properly before yet still I had outrageous utility bills. I had 4 companies give me estimates including the company that was servicing my units for three years. Magic Touch was the third company to come out and I knew within 30 minutes they were much more thorough than the first two. I still had one more company coming to my house to give me an estimate and I told them I wanted to talk to that company before I made a decision, the salesman was very polite and never pushy. Magic Touch was the only company that measured my whole house and asked questions I had never even considered. I checked them out with Trane, and the register of contractors and as they claim, no complaints against them ever. The work was done when they said it would be and without any surprise costs. They even repaired my ice-maker for me at no charge! My units work better than ever and are less ""tons"" than the old ones. My electric bill went down 60%. A++. more
