Made By Me Craft Studio

Just left with my three children and a car full of tears. They only had enough for one out of our three chosen projects. All of the choices were of sub-standard quality - like the velcro on the CD case would not hold. Everything was very cheaply made but overly priced. I was willing to pay to make my children happy but then wen they chose their projects, the materials just were not there. No one seemed to care that my children were upset or that we left with nothing. We will never return. Pros: Item cards list time needed, price and age if appropriate. Cons: Poor quality on ALL items, did not have all items they displayed. more

Obviously, this is a great place to take kids and spend some quality time. However, I have stopped in a couple of times on a rainy afternoon and really enjoyed the solitude. There are many types of crafts to do and the staff is especially helpful. They always make me feel like I can ask for help at any time I need it. May even go in there tomorrow. I have my eyes on a pair of earrings to make. Pros: Great staff, lots of variety in crafts. Clean, pleasant studio/store. Cons: Some things are a little overpriced, but you really don't mind cause of the experience. more

I have been into Made by Me several times and I love it more each time I go in. There are always new and seasonal projects available and I have received rave reviews of unique birthday, holiday, and anniversary gifts I have made at Made by Me over the years. There's something in the store for everyone and everyone I've brought in has enjoyed themselves. The workers are always very friendly and I always feel very welcome and comfortable each time I go in the store. I highly recommend checking this place out! more

Made by Me introduces children to crafts that they enjoy and there is no cleanup for me. New crafts are continually introduced and there are projects to fit all budgets. I have been to Made By Me many times by myself and with my children. They always have new and innovative crafts for any age and the staff is extremely helpful. I think their prices are great especially when you take in to account that there is no time limit, you can stay for hours and let your children complete their projects at their own pace. The best part is you don't have to go to the store and get the supplies & kits. PLUS they take care of all of the clean up for you. As an Art Teacher and a fellow crafter, I find this place amazing. Instead of watching tv or playing video games you can spend some one on one time with your child or girlfriends(yay ladies nights!) making art projects, gifts, or wearable art. Not only have I made tons of gifts here, I love taking my nieces AND nephews here--and they love it as well. The crafts are creative and allow you to put your own spin on it. The people here are the nicest too. Always thinking of ways to please their customer and make you have the best experience and final product. My niece also LOVED summer camp! They have so many ideas of projects, camps, and nights out that the possibilities for your creative juices are endless. This is a favorite hot spot of mine in St. Louis. Made by Me is a wonderful place to do craft projects. It is not only for kids but has fun projects for adults as well. The staff and atmosphere are just so inviting right when you come through the door. Their selection for jewelry-making is great and they really you figure out what you want to do! Their prices are very reasonable which is just an added bonus! It's a great place that everyone needs to check out! more

My kids love Made By Me. The projects they offer are unique and appeal to both boys and girls. I love that they are constantly adding new things to make. The staff always goes out of their way to make it fun for the kids and easy on Mom too. Prices are reasonable so it doesn't have to be a special occasion. Have fun! more

This is now my kids' official favorite place. I have a 7-year old, a 5-year old and a 3-year old, and they just can't get enough. Luckily for me, the prices are very reasonable so I can afford to indulge their creative juices. Great selection, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere! I highly recommend this place to all my friends.
