Being Mexican and living in East Los Angeles, you would think that I would go to Ciro's or El Tepeyac for good Mexican food...but I don't. Instead I jump on the 710 and go to Alhambra. Why? Because there you'll find some of the best quality mexican food around. I assure you I've tried just about every Mexican place out there and this one is somewhere near the top of the list. Lupita's food is amazing. You get good portions at dirt cheap prices and the service is very friendly. My favorite plate right now is the Baja Burrito. Try it, it's like nothing you've ever had. Lupita's is one of the best Mexican Restaurants around. And just to let you know, I don't work for them and I'm not getting paid to promote them, I just know what good Mexican food tastes like...thats all.
