This place is AWSOME. A great highend market that has a little of everything you can think of. The Bakery makes the best cupcakes you will ever put in your mouth. more

Lunardis has everything! 7/25/2008

Do you like plums? Lunardis has 6 kinds of them in season! Their fruits and vegetables are of great quality and choice, and they have a meat market with real butchers, who will not only find you the cut you want, but tell you a way to prepare it. They have an in-house deli and bakery, and friendly and helpful checkers, who are like family. The store is a bit pricey, but well worth it for what you can find. more

Fancy and expensive but delicious 1/18/2008

This is one of those "high end" grocery stores where everything is super fresh and they have a great salad bar and meals to take home...but you will pay for it. more

  • Lunardi's Markets is a family-owned business with one of its locations in Walnut Creek, Calif. It has various departments, including meat, produce, seafood, wine, deli and bakery. The store s poultry items are natural and free from steroids, hormones, antibiotics and chemicals. Its liquor department offers a selection of premium spirits and wines. The store also customizes gourmet wine, cheese baskets and wine gift packs. Its produce department provides organic and conventionallygrown vegetables. The store also has a special cheese department that offers a variety of cheese, such as pecorino, fontina, Spanish manchego, blue costello and Bulgarian feta.
