this place is great - the people and the food are very good. They have a good broad menu. I have eaten here more than 100 times and have never had a bad meal here. This is not a fancy place but the food is as good as anywhere in the area. Pros: good all the way around Cons: none. more

I am a big fan of chicken shawarma sandwiches here. Once in a while I go here for regular dinner, but it was not as satisfying as the sandwiches I used to carry out. The shish combo for two(could be for three depending on side orders) was okay. The Shish kebob(lamb) was good, but only when it was warm. Some parts were a little overcooked. The chicken ghallaba was okay, but not superb. Lamb with lima was pretty good, with very soft lamb. I am pretty sure that this place still has more to offer, and I will gladly try again. Yet the shawarmas are fabulous, and the falafels were good too. Some of the dinner entries seem a little bit overpriced compared to the amount they serve, but the sandwiches are nice. Pros: tasty Shawarma Sandwich, Healthy drinks, pita bread with garlic spread Cons: Service varies depending on the day, some entries are not priceworthy more

Pita cafe has excellent middle eastern food. The hummous is out of this world, and the crushed lentil soup and salads are not to be missed. Excellent for both vegetarians and meat eaters, and you don't have to spend a fortune. A great place to go for a relaxed weeknight meal. You can indulge in richer food if you want to, but there are a lot of really tasty health concious dishes on the menu if you want to go that route.
