Julie Lubitz is listed in some directories as a ""personal injury attorney"". However, she is a fiduciary, not an attorney, and is only involved in probate matters. However, if she were to become a personal injury attorney, she would have lots of experience, since, judging by the reviews here, she herself has caused so much injury to others! It is truly a wonder she has managed to keep her license as a conservator/trustee/guardian. The wonders of our justice system, no doubt! In our case, the injury was both financial and emotional, as we are paying exorbitantly, and her client, my mother, was drugged and poorly cared for (several falls, poor diet, etc.). more

I have opinions on this ""lawyer"" and those who have made reviews on this webpage. Mrs Lubitz caused my family great pain, and with a smirk on the whole time. People like her continue stereotypes of lawyers being greedy, untrustworthy pigs. If I had known at the time that her promises of ""truth and justice"" were a bunch of hot air, I would have run in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, hindsight is 20/20, and I am trying to warn others of the problems I went through. It's funny to me how M. Laney says that ""if I went with someone cheaper, I may risk the chance of them screwing up"" At this point, I wish I had gone with someone cheaper just to run a risk, instead of being guaranteed that things would be screwed up by Mrs. Lubitz. Again, Mrs Lubitz may get things going in a direction and that direction is straight into the ground. If M.Laney kept her opinions to herself instead of placing her off the wall claims of who ""milked"" the estate, we could get a clear review of this ""trained professional"", Mrs. Lubitz. That review, for me, is to avoid her disservices at all costs. Pond scum only collects more scum, which makes me want to stay as far away as I can from Mrs. Lubitz. I have to disagree with all the previous reviews. 1. Julie Lubitz is not a lawyer, and lawyering is not a real word. So, probably consider the source. 2. When I interviewed with Julie, I realized that she has been in the business for a long time. Her fees are not that much more than any of the fiduciaries. If you went with one that is cheaper, you may risk the chance of them screwing up and costing the estate much more. We worked with another fiduciary and ended firing her because she did not follow through with what she needed to close out the estate. When we transferred everything to Julie, she made things happen, she made things move the direction that it needed to. From my observation of the previous reviews. The ones that are complaining about Julie probably were the people who got the shorter end of the stick because they milked the estate before Julie got on board. She had to deal with several beneficiaries that did just that, until Julie put a stop to it. She always kept us in the loop. Everything was accounted for. I never had to worry that things were not taking cared of. If and when it is my time, I would hope it would be someone like Julie to handle my estate like she with my mother's. i had the displeasure of meeting julie a few years back, and let me tell you, if i were a high ranking official, i would disbar her quicker than a jackrabbit on the prairie. i hope that none of you ever have to deal with the pure torture that comes along with the ""service"" that julie offers. hold onto your pocketbooks, paying this woman for her lawyering skills would be like paying an enron employee for stock tips. Like Gloria we at first thought Julie would be able to do a good job. After she was hired it took her 2 years to get the abuser away from my mother. If she didn't like the questions we asked her about my mothers care she would hang up the phone on us and refused to answer the question. And yes the money issue, don't even consider asking her about where the money is going or why it's going or if you can get a logical accounting of where the money is. After five years and repeated requests we are still unable to have that information. A selfish fiduciary without ethics is a horrible thing to witness. Cons: She's a liar and a thief more

At first, she seemed efficient, but as time went by, she became harder to deal with. Much expense is required, in the form of other people she hires to do some of the tasks. It is essential with her to keep a very tight rein on your pocketbook, if you can! more
