Great Family Fun 7/6/2006

LMS has so much to offer. Track tours --ride around the track at 80 mph, lots on the history of racing, 2 weekends of AWESOME RACING (Tickets as low as $25) They support the Local Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts, & offer them free tickets to the Busch races every May & Oct. Food lion hosts a very large & successful car show in Sept. There is a HUGE sale the day after Thanksgiving, and many haulers are on site to sell their drivers items. They even have a day where you can pay $25 and drive your car around the track, (mind you-there are about 10 or 12 other cars on the track with you....but still fun. more

Track tour is awsome! 9/9/2005

My family was visiting from Pennsylvania and we decided to go to Lowe's Motor Speedway to show them the race track. We went in the gift shop and found that they do tours from 9:45 am to 3:45 daily on the 3/4 hour. You pay $5 per person and you have to sign a waiver. You go into a van and the driver tells you all about the history of the race track. They take you up the embankment and drive you a lap around the track. Of course you are not going as fast as a race car, but it is great. They then take you to the winners circle and will take pictures of your group. more
