If you want to pass the road test at the first time, this is the perfect driving school for you. The person who teaches loves his job. He is a great guy and funny. He is also very strict but very patient. He will teach you anything you need to know to drive well and pass the road test. Want to learn how to drive? Durant's the man for that. Take me as example: I didn't know how to drive at all, took some classes with him, 1 week before New Year's passed my test, 5 days later got a car, 3 weeks after that drove 500 miles on it. He teaches you skills of the trade, but doesn't answer all the questions, just guides you to make smart decisions, because believe it or not, but you--the driver--will have to make all the decisions no matter who you're driving around in the car. I am so grateful to Durant for helping me finally embrace driving (I am 27 and had a permit for 11 years.......) and feel confident on the road. I was genuinely afraid of driving at all, and especially in the city. I found him to be patient and demanding--but in a good way. He's tougher than the people who test you from the DMV, which is helpful. He used to be a cab driver, so he certainly knows a lot of driving tricks and how to spot dangers on the road. I took (and passed) my road test and started my driving classes with Durant some time ago. \r \r I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with Durant - he is a very patient and kind teacher. What I particularly appreciated was his understanding of my capabilities. As a an anxious driver, having an instructor like Durant made the process easier and pleasant for me. I'd happily recommend his classes to anyone I know! \r \r Some things to note: \r \r - Durant is extremely punctual, so be on time! \r \r - Yes, you do need to drive the previous driver home at the beginning of your class, but I believe this is verybeneficial - it loosens you up and gets you back in the swing of driving - for me this was good, as I do not own a car. So book a two hour class and you'll maximise your time. \r \r - Bring your permit to each class, and be sure to have the application form before you sit the road test (it is a yellow form). \r \r - Last tip, try your classes driving at different times of the day and week - traffic varies, and its good to have experience driving at all these times. Durant will tell you what you need to know to pass the test. He has his own driving methods that he wants to pass down on to you. He won't turn on the radio while you are paying him to learn how to drive. He comes in on time and would be flexible to work on your time if needed. I took driving lessons with Durant, and he taught me everything I need to know to pass the road test on my first try! He taught me at my pace, and helped me fix some of the mistakes I was making. For e.g. I was very lousy at backing the car straight, and pulling to the side of the road making sure the car was close to the curb. He helped me fix these mistakes by teaching some of his ""techniques"". He also talks about the common mistakes that his previous students have made which had resulted in them failing the test. I guess that helped me a lot and I always tried not to repeat the same mistakes. He's very punctual and has a great sense of humor. I would totally recommend Durant for driving lessons. Durant was extremely patient and kind with me. He was always on time. I am a working adult, and he made time to work early in the mornings or after the workday so that I could fit in my lessons. I began my lessons feeling timid and scared. Durant just has you drive, and drive until you feel comfortable, then he will present you with a challenge or teach you a new skill. I took approximately ten lessons with Durant, and by the last lesson I felt like a ready, competent driver. I passed my driver’s exam on the first try. If anything, I think Durant over prepares you. He is hard. But patient. Durant also has a sense of humor. He really just wants to pass the time in a light, enjoyable way. I was very pleased to have him as my teacher. Although I have been driving for more than 5 years in the UK, I felt that I still need to get used to the rules here in US. So I chose Love Driving School because of excellent review over the internet. I did 10 hrs lessons with Durant. He was so patient. I learned a lot especially the parallel parking and Durant really broke it down into steps so it was easier for me to understand. Durant was also my sponsor during the test. love driving school is a good driving school. The teacher is kind and does his work. He gives lot of remarks to the driver, teach the proper driving technics, gives tips about the exam and is honest. In the other hand, his teaching technics are kind of slow. If you already know how to drive, but just you need a quick refresh, it isn't going to be quick. He wants to teach you all the details, and even adds some more rules. For example, he told me I need to learn how to drive without using mirrors, because in the day of the exam I won't be allowed to use mirrors. The day of the exam, the first thing the examiner tells is to adjust the mirrors. I was very confused because I thought I shouldn't be using mirrors to drive, but they are there to be used while driving. In addition, he doesn't give good explanation. Whenever I asked why I should be doing something, his explanation was because this is what you need to do in order to succeed in the exam. I had to follow on the question to make him give me the proper explanation. After all, I did get my driver license although it took more lessons than I expect. Also, the exam was kind of frustrating, but it is over... yeah!!! more

Durant has a bad habit of talking sarcastically and is very mean. He makes a woman feel uncomfortable with his sarcastic jokes which intend something bad. He NEVER answers your questions on driving properly. The only good part is he is on time. As a woman, I warn other girls and woman about taking his classes. Especially late night driving classes. I have never met the worst instructor before!!\r I know I'm a beginner. so, I standed so many times what he's yelling. but the more i took lessons, the harder I couldn't drive becouse he made me feel nervous. The worst driving instructor ever! I highly do not recommend this driving school! Very unpleasant with me, not willing to answer questions about the rules of the road. Instead he would answer with irony what do you think or read the handbook? As a student learning how to drive it was an extremely unpleasant experience since I felt that any question I would ask would be considered stupid by my driving instructor! So I'm paying someone to teach me how to drive but my instructor appears more concerned by my money than the actual teaching. I will always remember the first time I met with Durant he told me straight up that money was his best friend. Even if one thinks that he/she knows how to drive and did drive back in the home country, Durant?s knowledge of a number of little things that are not in the manual make driving in Boston much easier and trouble-free. I had my driving instruction as a 33 year old foreigner and was not looking forward having to deal with instructors that may only be used to teaching high school students. Durant is the instructor of love driving school and I contacted him because of the positive internet reviews I read about him. He teaches a wide variety of students and teaches in a courteous and humerous way. I immediately felt at ease and he really helped me patiently through my first unskillfull efforts to drive. If you are a nervous driver, a first time driver, need a few refresher lessons or are just someone who needs to borrow a car for the test, then you should definitely contact Durant at Love Driving school. \r \r He is an exceptional teacher who was extremely patient, supportive and honest with me and can offer lessons at all times of the day to meet your busy schedule (7 a.m. when there is little traffic about or late in the evening after work). \r \r He made the lessons fun and taught me many of the unwritten rules of the road that aren't listed on the RMV site and which proved important for the test and made me a better driver. I had a wonderful learning experience with Durant. I was so nervous with the thought of learning to drive but Durant made me feel very comfortable. He was always very patient never losing his temper, when i made a mistake he just explained what i did wrong and how to do it right the next time. I am an experienced driver but I needed some lessons to get MA licence. I had to drive an automatic shift car that I had never driven. Mr. Durant taught me for three hours of lessons. I am very satisfied with him. He has very good manners; does not speak a lot but is effective. I need to thank him openly for his good job as an instructor.
