Owner/landlord seems to have little interest in keeping the place up, but plenty of interest in charging high rent. Customer, or tenant, is evidently not always right (especially if a woman), but long string of incompetent, ineffectual (unvetted?) managers get his deference...if they are men. Place must once have been beautiful and impressive, but owner, in my opinion after many years of residency, puts little priority on maintaining it despite high rent. The landscaping is disastrous, my maintenance requests and reports of serious safety issues go unanswered by the current so-called property manager for too long or altogether, gas and electric are charged by the square foot rather than actual use. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere, at least until someone who cares about the property and tenants somewhere near as much as he seems to care about his bank account and appearing important while behaving abominably buys the place. Its just not worth it.
