DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE. I got one as a gift and when I called to get my nails done, I was told that the girl who does nails is not taking any new clients!!! WTF. Someone wasted $$ on a gift card for me. This place SUCKS. \r \r more

I had a few different salon services done at Lords n Ladies. I had a Brazilian Blowout which came out BEAUTIFULLY. Unfortunately after that my luck at this place ended. I had a haircut that was so crooked I had to go back the next day to have it fixed and was told "that's just the way your hair lays." At my most recent haircut (at a different salon) the hairdresser said the cut was so crooked she thought I had cut it myself! I also had Gelish nail polish done on two different occasions, both times very sloppy and started peeling within 3 days (it's supposed to last 2 weeks). No problems since having it done at a real nail salon.\r \r So anyway, nice staff but most services not worth the money. You can get much higher quality cuts and maincures elsewhere for the same cost. Sorry Lords n Ladies. I wanted to like you. more

I am a customer at Lods N Ladies and I got to say my hair was a mess until I went there. Megan fixed a bad cut I had from going to Fantastic Sams. Thank You Megan. And thank you Kimmi for doing my nails! Luv them! more

Terrible salon. Went in to have my roots touched up. They screwed it up the first time, the color did not match the rest. They redid it and it still looked terrible. Then they scammed me into getting a deep conditioning and didn't even tell me they were gonna charge me. They tried to charge me $60 for the whole ordeal. I was very polite and said I was not happy with the color and I didn't know they were gonna charge me for the deep conditioning. The manager was extremely rude and argued with me before finally only giving me $10 back for the conditioning. Now I have a terrible dye job I could of done way better at home for less than $20. Big mistake, I will never be going there again! more

I can't believe all of the negative reviews on here! I've been going to this place for years, and I've never had anything but stellar service. I like it there so much that I booked a girls getaway with my Mom and my sisters recently. The owner supplied us with bagels and fruit and she made an awesome breakfast casserole for us. I've had manicures and pedicures there many times and they've always been awesome. Facials, waxing, massages - every service I get is exceptional. more

I love this place. Maybe I'm biased - I'm a regular, but there's a reason for that! Pros: the staff, the services, everything! Cons: I can't think of one more

I've been getting my hair done at Lords 'n Ladies for quite some time. I'm always very pleased with my color and haircuts. I find the staff to be incredibly friendly and the owner is so down to earth and approachable. I never feel like just a number, my stylist always takes her time and doesn't rush me just to get another person in. I really appreciate that. Plus, I've gotten some spa services done as well and love it... very clean, always impeccable. Great customer service!! Pros: Clean. Friendly & experienced stylists more

My girlfriends and I scheduled some things for a joint birthday celebration. The staff was so wonderful when we scheduled our appointments, which was kind of last minute. The owner is such a sweetheart, and made us feel right at home. She made some really good food for us, ordered us pizza (we're college kids), and made us feel very comfortable. We had a fairly large party, but the staff and owner just let us do our thing. And as we took up a lot of space, I thought it might be an issue for them, but I can't say it enough when I say they were just absolutely wonderful. Most of us had massages and pedicures, both of which were good. The massage therapist gave actually one of, if not the best massage I've had (and I have had a few). I am absolutely going back there, and we all are thinking about making this place a tradition for future birthdays/special events. Pros: Accommodating, helpful, personable staff more

This place is wonderful. We sent them a letter for donations and they went behind the call of duty. We are collecting toys, shampoos, conditioners....etc for the soilders overseas and their families. The owner called us with all this stuff that she was donating and when we went to pick it, it was way more than we expected. OH BOY! Where to start? My sister scheduled my bachelorette weekend to include spa time and Lord and Ladies. We had some illnesses and 2 girls cancelled. As soon as we knew, we contacted them to make the changes. The manager looked at the book while we were on the phone and said, "There is so many names, this is confusing." We understood this was a party of 8 but we thought they had some experience. We got there Saturday morning and each girl was going over their services and NOTHING was scheduled right! People were missing services, and others had Pedicures added. There ended up being 4 pedicures we didn't schedule. Apparantly this was a HUGE issue and the staff and owner were immediately talking about us as we were filling out paperwork. The owner kept saying, "Girls, fill up spaces there are lots of blank spaces." They did have food out for us which was disgusting and the owne was badgering us to eat it! We'll eat when we're hungry, thank you. Anyway, a few of us were sitting and more

I said it was me and she told me to come in this back room. She continued to yell at me for over 5 minutes. Well the room echoed and everyone could hear her yelling at me. She demanded that I pay for the pedicures we cancelled. I reminded her that we never scheduled them and that there was a mistake. She then came out and yelled at the rest of the girls telling them, ""You better tip the girls really good because you aren't getting pedicures."" \r Her attitude and unprofessionalism ruined the WHOLE weekend. The technicians there were great! Everything came out wonderfully but the owner is SO RUDE! There were other customers that came up to me to say how awful she was to me on bachelorette party. The owner said she did this kind of thing all the time, that was clearly not the case. I refused to pay for pedicures she schduled for us, we never wanted those services. I feel bad for the technicians because her conduct will most certainly effect their business and thus how much they make and that should not be the case. \r I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. I do not even live near Buffalo, we drove there from Syracuse and I was treated with the utmost disregard for respect and courtesy. The owner, Kay, was absolutely ridiculous and out of line. She doesn't even deserve to be in business. I wish I could pick NO STARS! Pros: Technicians were good. Cons: THE OWNER IS A NIGHTMARE! more

Their SKILLS went to their heads. Not as good as they would lkie you to think...Snipy in fact...If you dont mind a MEDIOCRE haicut etc,,,and overpriced besides and I mean overpriced Let these UNQUALIFIED ""kids""\r take care of you."" a salon owned by a rude and unprofessional Mother and Daughter! while having a service done, I was shocked to have to listen to nasty and Immature comments made by them about their personal problems and other clients. The daughter, I believe her name is joan yelled across the salon,rolled her eyes and stomped her feet while walking away, just like a 5 year old. I was so disgusted. Hope she does not treat her clients or co workers that way. I would not stand for it! These owners need to grow up. I was warned by a friend not to go, upon her visit she was not so welcomed by a small dog that had just finished using the waiting area as a bathroom. I should have listened. more

Best salon and spa I have ever been too! The staff was so warm and welcoming I would tell everyone to go there! My hair was the best cut I have ever had! My stylist Magen was so awesome she really did the best job on my cut and color i will always go to her! more

Awful. The interior is dated, the staff is trashy, and the haircut was dreadful. You can get a better haircut at one of the discount mall places for 1/2 the price. Moreover, the term "salon & day spa" is misleading. This place is a glorified old ladies salon. more

I can not believe how dissappointing my valentines day gift was. my husband purchase me a hot stone gift certificate at L&L and I've had plenty of massage in the past that this was unacceptable. \r my therapist was pleasant until I was on the table. Crissy or Cristin, I do not recommend for anything. She first told me that I should schedule a later appointment because the staff doesn't get in until 10am. hence, they scheduled me at 10. Then I had asked her not to use oil with the stones - if it gets on my clothes it stains and i usually work right after. She tells me that is all she has. So ok off to a rough start. i thought maybe she had just got out of school so I tried to relax. She placed one, ONE stone on my chest, and instead of using the stones to massage with she held the stones in her hands then just used her hands to massage with. Well i didn't recieve hot stone and towards then end I asked how long she'd been doing this - 13 YEARS! I wanted to jump off the table in anger. So instead of me going into a fit of outrage I decided that I would first talk to the manager about my experience. When I was getting changed I happened to look at a near by counter and guess what a half gallon of massage lotion was on it. So not only did she lie, she ruined the only time I needed to relax. When I got out I asked the receptionist to speak to the manager in private. Kay came pulled me in to a little room, I told her that was the worst experience I've had at her salon and I thought she should know. Kay decides to tell me that She's sorry, and this therapist is leaving any way so she would give me a free half hour massage and call me when she finds someone else, while walking away. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. If this girl was leaving why schedule me, knowing how she is? I will never ever go there or send anyone to this place. Pros: none. Cons: worst ever overall experience more

Of course, this is hardly and unbiased review. I have been a customer for a few years and I love the place. Kay treats her business as if it were her home, and you are a very special personal guest. Their pricing is competitive and the staff is wonderful. more

I did not even make it into the salon. The receptionist was so unprofessional I didn't want to give them my business. I called to make an appointment for me and a bridal party, and ask questions regarding the massage packages. The receptionist instead of giving the information she asked me if I was a competitor calling. WHAT PROFESSIONAL SALON HAS THEIR RECEPTIONISTS ACT THIS WAY???\r Extremely unprofessional, and that is not the end of it, then instead of helping me so I could make the appointments she advised me that I should just go online instead.\r So I wrote the business a complaint e-mail, the recptionist must have gotten it and deleted it, because they never replied.\r I would never recommend this salon to ANYONE.
