One Of The Worst Italian Restaurants Ever 9/8/2014

I thought this was the same as Mama Lombardi's in Holbrook or Lombardi's On The Sound. I was sooo wrong. The atmosphere is not bad but it's all down hill from that point on. The veal was like rubber, I'm talking rubber ball bouncing rubber. When I complained to to the waiter the manager approached my table. He said I don't have to eat it If I didn't like it but I still had to pay for it because they cooked it especially for me. I learned that he's Victor, also the owner. I wouldn't pay for the meal, we got up, all 6 of us, and walked out. Victor's an Idiot. We then drove over to Holbrook to Mama Lombardi's for a real good Italian meal, phew, what a difference! If you want a great Italian Meal don't go here! more

Different for sure 7/23/2014

If you're thinking of eating there ..... Don't. Highly over priced for food that was cold when it should have been hot and warm when it should be well chilled. Ever eat warm salad, rabbits won't even eat warm lettuce. The waitress wanted to pick up ice cubes but the manager wouldn't let her, I heard the manager tell her that the customers will eat it warm when they get hungry enough. When I complained to the manager (Victor) he told us we should have stayed home. He's an idiot more

Great date night spot 1/4/2009

The food is ok, normal LI italian. The atmosphere is nice, its small, quiet, the lighting could be a little brighter, it was very dark when I was there. more

We've been dining at Lombardi's for more than thirty years. The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. Would you believe that we have been served by the same waiter all that time? Say hello to Elliot when you go. They make an outstanding portobello mushroom in a balsamic sauce that will knock your socks off. Their salads are out of this world as are the pasta dishes and desserts. It is a little pricey, so we go on special occasions..It is a winner more

Good Italian Food 10/7/2008

Lombardi's in Middle Island is in no way associated with the Mama Lombardi's conglomerate in Holbrook. Nonetheless, the food is quite good and at a reasonable price. Vic, the owner, is always there ti greet you, and the waiters on staff are very personable. \r \r I highly recommend the ceaser salad, veal parmigiana, and tira misu with a cup of decaf cupiccino. The portions are absolutely enormous, so be prepared to bring some home. The prices are pretty good, too-- Especially if you go during the prix fixe lunch during the week. more
