Great new mexican cuisine in Center City 7/12/2006

My wife and I went there in July 2006 for dinner. The good was spectacular - fresh and well-prepared. I had trouble finding something to order on the small menu because I could not understand what half the things were. I ended up with a goat cheese salad that was fresh and delicious, my wife had the skirt steak which was very well prepared and fresh. The best item of the night was the tres leches desert WOW!!! Triple recommended! The prices are not cheap but are fair in relation to the quality of the food and preparation. The service was good. more

BYO Tequila! 1/15/2006

Lolita is a great, BYO Tequila Mexican restaurant in Philadelphia. It is very small and be prepared for a wait on weekend nights. The food is delicious and inventive. Bring your own Tequila for their featured margarita mixes of the night (the price of the mixer for the margarita was expensive for no alcohol). The hostess was not friendly at all when we went, but everyone else working there was great. more
