I have purchased fixtures from Logan lighting for 30 years I have always been satisfied..They have always given GREAT customer service....I furnished a home and a condo from here and they were SO helpful . I would tell you that they are the BEST at Lighting...Complete satisfaction,THRILLED. Support the small business so they will be here to support other small business.... more

I have read some of the reviews about this business and can't disagree more with them. \r My experience with Logan Lighting has always been wonderful! I have gone to this location for over 20 years and only have great things to say. During my last visit, the owner took a great deal of time with us and really helped us feel comfortable with our purchase! We will continue to support this local business and hope that others in our community continue to do so as well. more

Paid cash for 2 fixtures in January, it's May, NO SIGN OF THEM, ""oh, they're coming...."" then the response was ""wait, who are you, you don't have your reciept? we'll have to look up your order by your order number,"" 2 weeks later, who are you again? Demanded my money back and they said no refunds. SInce I paid cash, yes, stupid me, I can't prove anything. I threw the receipt away because I was told I'd pick up my fixtures in a few days. It's been 5 months. This place needs to be shut down and I hate to say that as a fellow Jenkintown resident. I thought, support local business, ABOSLTUELY NOT!!!! DO NOT buy from them. We're still in the midst of suing them! more

I wish I had read these reviews before setting foot in this store. I needed a couple of indoor flood bulbs for my bathroom and went here. Figured I would support local business. I orderd 2 bulbs for $30, and put down a $20 deposit. These bulps retail for about $18-$20 at home depot. The lady who took my order told me they would be in ""end of next week"". That was Feb 13. I called mid march, left a message asking for the status, and received no return call. Went to the store today, March 30. They still were not in, and they would not refund my money. Go to Denny Electric in Ambler. I have no idea how this place is still in business; it must be a front for something. I wish I could give it zero stars. This store either has the worst customer service I have ever seen, or they are outright thieves. I ordered 2 light fixtures on Oct. 27, 2007 and paid a $48 deposit. I was told that they would be in in a few days and that I would be called when they were in. I have never received a call from Logan Electric. I have called them repeatedly and was always told that the fixtures were not in yet. On Nov. 28, 2007, I was told that they were ""in transit."" On Jan. 5, 2008, I went into the store. I was told that the fixtures were not in yet but they would be in in a week (yeah, right!). I said that I wanted to cancel my order and receive a refund of my deposit. If the fixtures really did come in in a week, I would be happy to come in and pay for them. They refused to refund my deposit and kept insisting that the fixtures would be in in a week. In the extremely unlikely event that I ever receive the fixtures, I'll update this review. Pros: I don't know of any Cons: They take your money, never give you anything, and won't issue a refund (that was my experience anyway) more

Bought a beautiful lucite chandelier in March from them for $600. Told them I would pick up in May when my new home was completed but was delayed until June because of kitchen renovations. They gave me run around when I tried to pick up. Called several times (they have no way to leave messages) & went there twice before finally was given a carton supposedly containing the chandelier I bought. When I opened the box a few days later so that electrician could hang it discovered it wasn't chandelier I had bought. Instead was a cheap chandelier that didn't look anything like the one I had purchased with cheap plastic instead of lucite prisms supposedly made by an Italian expert not even the same shape as on the piece I had purchased. This chandelier can be bought in Home Depot for $157 & according to someone I know in the lighting industry, chandelier came from China & was probably sold to Logan for approximately $49. Took chandelier back & demanded my money & owner (Ivy) refused, lied & insisted it was one that I bought. Incredible! They don't even have anything that cheap on display in the entire shop. I am a senior citizen who cannot afford a $600 loss & am suing them in district court for return of my money. I have since heard innumerable horror stories about them & their business practices, not only from industry insiders but from other stung customers. Wish I had heard before the fact not after! DO NOT BUY THERE! Cons: These are dishonest people more
