Lighthouse Christian Academy

This church has no regard for childrens spiritual well being. They kicked my child out and after three weeks still refuse to explain to me why. We have went there more than 14 years. The church members are treated as they are better than the bus kids and their families. There is a very strong class system that is felt by all. My child was trying his hardest to serve God, is very spiritual, and has went to Lighthouse all his life and has gotten baptized there. They escorted him off of the church property and still will not answer as to why. If you go there they may one day kick you out as well. If they can do it to a child and not even tell me why, they can do it to anyone. The children's classes are categorized according to your mode of transportation. If the whole family goes (and tithes well) their kids go to one class and the same aged kids who go on the bus go to a different class. This better than you attitude is felt through out this church. Our family attended this church for nearly ten years before the Lord moved us elsewhere. Amazing Pastor, great preaching directly from the Bible, and wonderful Church Family. You'll feel right at home, and grow more than you ever have before. The staff at Lighthouse are real, and transparent men of God. Somtimes you just need to ignore the people on sites like these who post defaming and liable things. This is a great church you should visit for yourself. If you read any other bad reviews consider that no mature or right with God Christian would post such defamating things against a church, pastors or God's work. Real godly Christians move on whether right or wrong. Only Satan would come against a good work. All the bad reviews on here are from one derranged man who has a criminal record himself. Sorry anyone has to deal with his insane issues of bad posters on this website. more

Awesome, a must attend. Out standing preacher and great congergation. Sincere, genuine, and kind Christians who love the Lord! The perfect place to grow in the Lord. Many great Sunday school classes for all ages, an incrediable bible institution, and a fantastic academy! Could not be more blessed with a church, more than this one. Really enjoyed the Easter play and performance, and the message was solid. Great heartfelt church and enjoyed the diversity of this large church. Great time and will be returning. more

This is a wonderful church I have attended for a while now. They are doing much for the Lord. The orchestra, chior, ministries, and services are fantastic. The people are friendly, so is the staff. No church is ever perfect, but the spirit and Spirit is great. Superb classes for children. We all need to be in a church, and this church is worth checking out. Solid biblical teaching. more

We were very active members of this 'Church' from 2004 to 2009 and this has to be one of the worst IFB -Independent Funnymental Baptist- Cults in the country. The frontmen for this criminal organization 'Doug Fisher and Gill Torres' are some of the most evil, corrupt and vicious leaders in the IFB movement!! They will indoctrinate you into believing that only they have the 'truth' that you have to be baptized in their church to be saved, they will brainwash you into giving them 20-40% of your income and will demand that you 'serve' them 30+ hours a week, they will use fear, intimidation and extreme indoctrination to keep you there, force you to home school your children there, to only take jobs that they approve of, to trust the 'man of God' -the crook in the pulpit- as if he were God himself...Anything you tell them in private they will use against you to character assasinate you if you ever question them ...They will use this Criminal named David Gibbs of the Christian Law Association to sue you or to protect them...There is no pastor-parishioner or attorney-client privilege...They defrauded us out of our home and life savings in a con job to print a Spanish Reference bible, produce an online Spanish Bible Institute and translate 120 bible publications in Spanish...With Feigned Words they make Merchandise out of People...they devour widows houses and for pretense make long prayer!!
