Large variety but very expensive 1/5/2006

This place no longer the largest variety of deli goods and cheeses goods in SLC. Harmons at the Brickyard, after their recent remodel, has just as much or maybe more! If you want German deli, the place to go to is Sigfreids downtown. If you want Italian deli, go to Caputos or Granatos. This is a place to go when you need something special that is hard to find, but is way too expensive to use as your everyday market. Pros: Excellent selection, especially of difficult to find items Cons: VERY expensive more

Best produce in the city 6/27/2002

There's no doubt -- the best produce in the city is right here. But it's not cheap. Still, comparing Liberty Heights to Smith's or Albertson's or Dan's is no contest -- so pay the extra couple of bucks and get the good stuff. They also have a great variety of cheeses, baked goods and flowers. Pros: Incredible quality Cons: A bit pricey more

Excellent store 5/20/2002

This converted gas station has a great selection of really wonderful gourmet items and organic or out-of-season fruits and veggies. The produce is beautiful, but it's very expensive. But it's about the only place you can find a ripe tomato out of season and berries any time of year. But you absolutely cannot beat this place for the cheese selection and olive bar. The staff is very helpful and will give you samples of cheese. Help yourself to an olive if you've never tried a particular kind. Bread is crusty on the outside and soft inside--and it goes fast on the weekends. Pros: Great cheese, Olive bar, Out-of-season produce Cons: limited parking, expensive more
