Have to agree with everything the previous reveiwer stated. The place is still business because it is located on a campus with limited choices and a student body that has limited travel mobility. Put this resturant in Portsmouth NH or even Dover and it is out of business in 6 months. The only reason I can think of to bring yourself or your family here is your on campus with no means of transport to a decent resurant elseware! I'm giving it 2 stars solely because I never got sick after eating there. more

makes the 99 look like gourmet dinning 12/1/2010

I live in the area and went there on two seperate occasions with my family. I like to give a place at least two shots before I write it off. The food was marginal at best and the service was terrible. The wait staff seems more interested in chating with their friends than waiting on the actual customers! Might be a decent place to go if you are under twenty five and looking to have a couple drinks. But if you are looking for a place to take yourself and family to dine at don't waste your time and money. more

A good dining option 8/15/2005

With the limited restaurant selections (restaurant being defined as someplace you can actually sit down and eat - and not on the top of a washing machine) in Durham, Libby's is a good choice for a nice meal. While the bar can get crowded with undergraduates on certain weeknights if you get there for a drink early enough, it's enjoyable for the (slightly) older crowd as well. I don't know if I'd try anything to fancy or different on the menu, but if you're looking for a burger or something simple, Libby's is a good bet. more

A nice pub 8/11/2005

You can ask any UNH student about Libby's and he will always give you a thumbs up for that. There is a pub where you can play pool chill out with people watch a baseball game. the ambience is great. you will really love this place. Also there is a restaurant on one side where you can sit down and enjoy your delicious lunch or dinner. the waiters are friendly and nice. Also on fridays and special occasions they open the dance floor downstairs which is just great. more
