Lenox Hill Post Office

Went to this post office today, shipped a small package, the black woman in the window asked if i wanted to add a tracking# for an additional dollar/something, I asked if it came with a tracking# she said NO, I did not pay and checked the receipt - there WAS a tracking #, it actually did come with it automatically, and she tried to charge me for it. \r There is another black woman in window 4, she is SHOCKINGLY rude and disgusting, she does whatever she wants, and the supervisor told me they couldn't do anything ""because she is in the union"". \r Can someone do something about these people?????!!!??? more

The NYC post offices are the worst. Lenox Hill lost my package and couldn't care less. Woman at PO left me on hold and never came back. Lenox Hill is a smaller one and you would think more helpful...but wouldn't even try to help. The USPS gets a -F rating. more

They lost my package from Japan! After almost one month since my mom send me a gift, it is still missing!!! I cannot believe. It was so precious for me and I cannot tell how much I have been looking for receiving a birthday gift from my mother living in a different country....I am calling almost everyday and so desperate to find out the package...You know how irritating is this post office? They just ask the same question each time, and even worse, each one of worker who took my call gave me the same answer ""I do not know what is going on""!!!(you know, i just hung the phone to the office. This is already 9 times, as long as I remember.) I really really DOUBT the working morale of these people. First of all, they should investigate for the lost package ASAP!!! Second, they should at least report the process of the investigation IF they start!!! I would say not to live this area for this post office!!!! more

The service at the window and on the phone is atrocious. Unfortunately, I get all my packages sent here so I'm stuck with their service. more

I went in there in a very happy mood, as I am sending Valentine's Day gifts to my grandchildren, and I left the place completely infuriated! All because I had to deal with someone called Carl Laquidara there. If you have to go there, avoid this person at the window! And if you get to his window, try to keep your mouth shut the entire time. Do your business and get out! He is a crancky, demeaning, and racially biased PO employee, which is a real pity for this office and in today's day and age! more
